  1. I don't know 100% if an electric setup works or doesn't and I had the same thinking as yourself on this smithy, and particularly since I live in london the leccy fans would work when stationary, which is a large proportion of the cars existence here :headvswal But to be honest the leccy fan will only release a minute amount of bhp, and for considerable expense and effort, combined with the evidence that some USguys have had trouble with cooling afterwards leads me to conclude if it ain't broke don't fix it! It's gonna cost a minimum of 200 notes and probably more to install one, and there are many other mods out there that are worth buying for that dough!
  2. It wouldn't be as good as the stock fan that moves 6000 cfm of air!
  3. Electric fans, not worth the agro for minimal gain and maybe overheating problems as well!
  4. They are $20 from certain sites in the US, for a few dollars it ain't worth skimping! If dust hits your compressor blades it dents them making them less efficient and knocking them out of balance, as I have seen on some turbos taken from a 300 with HKS filters not changed frequently enough!
  5. You buy replacements, you don't wash them!
  6. Gutted for you! It was the worst day of my life to have my rough collie put to sleep, I know what you are going through and can say it will get better mate!

  8. It ain't worth the time and the agro unless your model ain't available in Turbo guise :D if you want give me a ring about it, it is a very complicated project!
  9. Colostomy bag overfill alarm :D
  10. PFR6B-11B the only spark plug purposely designed for higher boost zeds!
  11. You might want to plumb in an autobox cooler! I am unsure if you could fit in a sandwich plate for an auxillary oil cooler, but to be truthful the NA engine is not under as much strain temp or otherwise so it would not really need an engine oil cooler!
  12. Get a larger oil cooler on your Import engine and auto gearbox is one of the more important mods you can do IMHO to a zed!

  15. Chris There is a lump of weight in the tailgate under the trim just take it out and the tailgate will be fine!
  16. Yes use a couple of bottles of Redline water wetter and high quality anti freeze. An alternative rad option is a used UK manual rad as this is the nismo one! Improve your auto box cooling by fitting a separate cooler and fit a larger engine oil cooler if your car is an import!
  17. Yes there are kits but the viscous fan is more capable than any electric kit and the consensus of opinion is that leccy fans are not worth the agro and cost of fitting and are not up to the job!
