  1. I already know how to fill it properly old chap :D The small amount you could raise the rad would not necissitate new hoses or new top brackets, there might be some small trimming of the cowling but not a great deal.
  2. The zed has a problem with air locks and one of the reasons for this is that the Rad is low in the engine bay, just wondering if the rad supports at the bottom, would take some large washers to make the rad sit a fraction higher. Obviously you would have to monitor the height to make sure it didn't foul on the bonnet, maybe a bit of blue tac on the rad cap to look for the imprint of the bonnet and how close it is? Your thoughts please?
  3. Got the info that the Mr2 likes flipping over in Corners, from one of the guys who runs the MR2 owners club, I personally know fook all about em :D
  4. Hi Kevin, What I think you might be referring to is the connection for the AIV's, which I think they removed in the series two cars. I think it must be the AIV's holes which are no longer there, do a search for AIV removal on here or TT.net and it will go into detail about how to go about doing the job properly!
  5. Went round my private test track tonight, it was an A3 blast :D Bird was mucking me about and so the zed was gonna get it instead :D, and it fookin motors!

  7. Yes the roof was off yesterday :D
  8. I heard they have a tendency to flip over in corners, I don't know if there is a suspension mod to help counter this?
  9. Hi Bubbles, You only really a need a twin cone induction, if you have done mods to the car, which would make chuck out 450-500 bhp, otherwise it is not worth it!
  10. If memory serves me right, the only line locators on the clutch lines are on the connectors, the line locators on the brake lines are separate from the connectors and are in the middle of the line itself! Yeah sorry smithy, I must have got myself in a tis :D
  11. Goodrich are crap go for the ones with the line locators!
  12. Stella Artois beer fridges in ASDA £50, severley tempted! Any pint round my way is £3, which is why I am thinking of getting the beer fridge and staying at home LOL :D
  13. It isn't for the door but one of the parts of the convertible hood and respraying that would be too much ag.
  14. After having watched Farenheit 911, I say Kerry, if you haven't watched it, WATCH IT!

  17. Happy Birthday Ya OLD git :D
  18. I doubt if the wiring loom to the det sensor has, because to replace it is an engine out job and it is not sold as part of the wiring loom I think.

Hi Peter, How ya doing? I thought the UK car was only 23ish anyway, personally I would fork out the extra 3 grand and get the UK car?
  20. No you wouldn't have cooked your timing belt, and I doubt if you would have damaged your auxillary belts, but be very careful over the next few hundred miles. Keep and eye on your coolant levels after every trip and the other eye on the temp gauge.
  21. Yes mate, this is a A1 priority job, the old casting flashing over no 4 &6 cylinders is profound, and you can see why no 6 is the one that always fails! Didn't think of that one Aaron, well done, you should be able to just about reach the Det Sensor from there, or at worse put a new loom on as it is this that always fails!
  22. I think from the post mate he is getting a second hand engine and sticking it in, he might be able to knock the rear core plug out and do the front by the thermostat?
  23. FLush out rad, and blow through the fins with a compressor, remove PRVR system.
  24. Must admit I've just shot my bolt!
  25. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=7930086210&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT Reckons he's in Elgin Scotland, had trouble with a potential seller of these before! If anyone knows anyone in elgin scotland then ask to pop in and see him :D
