How easy is one to fit with an aftermarket bumper?

When I start getting more use out of it (cant drive at mo) I will take it to my mechanic and he can tell me if its the battery or altenator as im going to be having a service done any way. Thanks for all your replies guys, much appreciated.

Hi guys and girls, after only about 4 days of not running the car the battery dies, even the alarm light does not work its that dead, apparantly the battery is quite new, I charged it for 24 hours and it was fine, but after a few days it was dead again, the battery does hold its charge once ive taken it for a spin so I dont think its the alternator, could it just be that the battery is useless now as its run flat a few times? Went out in my zed yesturday and when at idle it would just cut out. The battery had been completely dead for some time before I gave it a good 24 hour charge, could it just be the ecu adjusting itself as after a while it idled ok?

Im with sky at the moment and was paying £600 a year for my old zed which was modified, ive just insured my new one (silver streak) and is £800 which aint bad considering all the mods and it being 600 odd bhp, im 25 with 5 years no claims, they did say it will go down on renewal as i am 25.

Cheers stu, I havnt really noticed a problem with the old gauge, ive just got a better gauge to fit in.

Yes this is what I meant, so its just a matter of chopping the wires to fit the back of the new gauge?

I have a water temp gauge fitted but want to change it to another one, is it just a matter of swapping them over using the previouse wiring or would it not be accurate?

Most of the divices have been switched off so had no problems yet.

Very happy with the car, extremely fast and well looked after, a few small bubbles of rust making their way through but nothing much to worry about, just need to sell my car now. A big thankyou to Stu for taking me for a spin in his vxr8, what a car. Will take some pics shortly of it with the new 19" Jade R Wheels.

I know what your saying but if i buy this at £6800 and sell mine for £6000, for £800 difference im getting a hell of a lot more car for my money + everything that he has had done to it I wanted doing to mine.

I sure do but to get mine into the same league as stu's would cost me an absolute fortune, mine is up for sale now for 6k if anyone interested.

Im going to look at Stu's old car sunday with cash in my hand, ooohhh cant wait, apparantly its in even better condition, not that it was bad anyway + new 19" wheels.

The thing is ive been offered a deal my car and £4500 cash for a 2004 5.7 v8 http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1212311.htm What would you guys do? Ive always liked the bmw too, would you have to sevice the beemer at bmw?

E39 BMW M5 or a 5.7 v8 monaro, im leaning more towards the monaro just on how rare it is compared to the beemer.

My car is used daily and I love it, its not a bad every day car really, have hell of a lot of looks, dont really do a lot of milage so wouldnt see the point in having a second car as it would work out more expensive.
