  1. It bleeped a while ago and I forgot about it but every now and again I hear a single bleep, what is this, it sounds like its comming from the inside somewhere, my fuel is a little low, could it be a warning bleep of some sort, it doesnt happen at a certain speed, just does it every now and again, any ideas?

  3. Tried gluing them in but made a mess of it, think im going to have them done by someone else. I have grinded them down to size, sprayed them up and attached mesh to them, the adhesive I used (seriouse stuff) took to long to dry and dried white, diddnt have the patience to sit their and wait to dry, will post pics up when complete.
  4. Think im going to have to keep my filter as the car is modified and I think replacing it with the original will restrict the amount of air I need for the set up I have.
  5. Yes, and I have a perspex sheet over the top of the air filter and a plastic undertray, maybe my MAF needs replacing. After about 10 minuites or so the car runs fine.
  6. For god sake its doing it again, would it be worth cleaning the probe thing inside the MAF as I only sprayed cleaner onto it?
  7. I had a go at it yesturday, it is now Set 45 Gain 8 and Start 0, its reading on my gauge 12 psi and it pickes up nice and smooth. At first I did set it the same as Evoluzion3 Set 75 Gain 14 and Start 9.10 which gave me a shade over 15psi and by christ it went like a rocket and it shit me right up, turned it down straight away as I dont want to increse it untill it goes on the roaling road, I did have a go at turning the start up a bit but the acceleration seemed more gradual and less violent.
  8. Thanks for that, I will have a go at it again soon, I want to run at 17psi too but wont be doing that untill it goes on the rolling road. I have been looking at your thread, would adjusting mine to the same settings as yours cause damage or would I have to gradually do it?
  9. Both are installed, the ebc says 1 bar and the gauge says in.hg/psi and goes up to 30 but on full boost goes up to 10
  10. I have a greddy e-01 ebc, my settings are Set 20 Gain 45 and Start 0.15, I have an option afer market boost gauge that goes to 10 on full boost, im either at 1 bar or 10 psi not sure. Can anyone help?
  11. Finally sorted my hesitsting and nearly stalling issues out. Found out that the rubber seal was missing between the nose panel and front bumper, water was dripping onto my air filter, took my air filter and AFM off, sprayed some engine cleaner into the AFM, cleaned my air filter using the KaN cleaning kit and replaced, I then got some perspex and cut to shape to fit under the nose panel so that any water that did manage to get under their would drip beyond my airfilter, car is now running smooth even when its been raining, well chuffed.
  12. So the sx standard gasket would fit a z32 with 5 bolt downpipes and JWT 530 tubs.
  13. Been on the phone to MJP and he says that the part number given was for the 200 sx, are they the same gaskets?
  14. Does anyone stock these in the uk or would I have to get them from JWT themselves? Does the downpipe fit straight to the turbo? I need to get all the niggles sorted before it goes on the RR.

  17. Im still running the JWT chip, it was booked in to be rolling roaded on the 25th this month but have prosponed it to next month now so that it gives me time to get the gaskets done. A few months ago I ran it at 17psi, floored it and it was a complete animal, no noises or rattles and pulled hard, surly if it was the turbo, something would of given out.
  18. I doubt it would be my injectors, I have nismo 555's and engine has been forged although my airfilter is damp, could this cause det?
  19. Engine is staying in to do the gaskets and yes the engine came out to fit the turbos, I hope its just the gaskets that are making the noise, I cant hear a thing, never have done.
  20. I think your miss understanding the first thread, the car is not smoking at all, my mechanic used a smoke boost/vac leak detector and found that their was smoke seeping through the tubs somewhere.
  21. Both gaskets have gone between manifold and turbo, hope this is the cause.
  22. My mechanic has taken it for a spin, he says he can here a slight rattle from passenger side tub whilst driving, could this be? The boost still goes to 1 bar fine and still pulls ok, I cant hear anything, I had a smoke leak test done and he says he can see smoke comming from both tubs but passenger one side more than the other, Its booked in to have the manifold/turbo gaskets replaced, hes going to have a better look then, the turbos I have are jwt530bb tubs which have only done a few thousand miles, I hope my tubs are ok.
