  5. Bloody hell mate, very scared now as their has been a lot of money spent, is their anyone up that way who can check on it for me?
  6. What was wrong with yours when you got it back, what jobs needed doing?
  7. Starting to worry now as I gave him a grand up front to do the job, I just hope to god that everything will turn out ok.
  8. The new owner Chris seems like a nice genuine guy, he says it will be ready in about 2 weeks max, really cant wait now.
  9. Welcome mate, stunning car.
  10. Its cost a grand so far in labour, whick I gave when the car went in, with the add on jobs such as intercoolers and wiring loom, he wants an extra £500.
  11. The problem is that he bought my old engine which he has to remove, plus the fully modified engine that I bought had been taken out of another customers car and he is stripping it all down and replacing the necesary parts, so everything was there, plus he had to wait for the intercoolers and loom to arrive from the states, which is an add on job, he says it will be ready in 2 weeks, really hope so as im really missing it especially with this lovely weather we are having down here.
  12. He's also got about 15 other zeds their, so I suppose he's got to keep everybody happy.
  13. Im having an engine swap and rebuild inc bigger tubs, downpies, smic's, wiring loom etc.
  14. Its been nearly three months with no zed, Z Tech still have it, fed up of driving around in a faded red 1.4 k reg Astra with no power steering and no poke, I so want it back as its my everyday car, will just have to be patient, it will be worth it in the end, I hope.
  15. Sorry bud. £176 intercoolers £30 vat £20 delivery
  16. No, they sent it as a gift, all I paid was £30+ vat + £20 for parcel force to deliver to my door.
  17. Aint got that far yet mate, i'm not fitting them, i'm getting chris from z tech to fit them whilst building my engine, gotta be easyer to fit than fmic's as they are just bolt on, no extra piping etc.
  18. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=025&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWN%3AIT&viewitem=&item=380057457158&rd=1 Sorry, $314@ £176 Reading up on here and talking to Chris at Z Tech, the smic's are far more reccomended than fmic's.
  19. Ive just bought the godspeed smic's, they are huge and great quality, I only paid $304, £200 inc vat and delivery.
  20. Been looking for this for ages, here she is, what a nice car. http://www.zclub.net/classifieds/showproduct.php?product=1386&sort=1&cat=all&page=1
  21. Bloody hell mate, still, id rather spend it on the z than go out and buy a 60k brand new car. Mind you, the new skyline tics all the right box's.
  22. Just one of those cars where you can just keep spending, I love my z lol
  23. How much cash has people spent on their z's including purchase of vehicle, parts, mods and labour? I was adding everything up the other day, I got quite worried as I havn't had the car a year yet, it comes in a shade over 11k. It keeps going through my head that the money spent on the car could have been a deposit on a house, but then I think *****cks, we only live once, and we work god dam hard, so why not work and enjoy the benifits of our money being earned. Vehicle purchase £6000 New forged engine £2750 intercoolers £200 egr bypass and water plennum bypass £250 Wiring loom £200 Labour £1500 Gauges £50 pcv's £80 Probably forgotten something but iv'e seen peoples cars on this forum, wouldnt like to think how much others have spent.
  24. Im having the egr bypassed and the plennum water bypassed and replacing the loom. God I wish I was minted, i'd spend thousands on her, have already but will be woth it, hopefully.
  25. What items would you reccomend replacing whilst the engine is out, I will be replacing the wiring loom, what else is cheap but worth changing?
