Nighmare cleaning throttle bodies
Went to clean my throttle bodies today to see if I can sort my high idle problem out, started cleaning them with a toothbrush and the dam thing snapped, tried taking the throttle body off but diddnt know how to take it completely off so I looked up on the internet and found that I could access the toothbrush by removing the balance bar, anyway, I managed to get the toothbrush out, I tightened the throttle body back up and put the balance bar back on, my question is, will I need a new gasket for the throttle body and what is the best sealant to use to seal the balance bar back up as their is now an air leak? The idle is still a little high, just above 1000rpm, I think it must be something to do with the maf or tps.

In the early hours of the morning, very wet road, tried my first slide in my first z around a round about, ended up facing the other way not far from a police station.

Here is the finished product, not 100% happy as they are useless in the daytime, can hardly notice them. In the near future I will be removing the bumper and remeshing the bumper and fitting uk indicator/sidelights.

Press the go pedal, revs drop.
Started the car today, it was very cold and wet, went to put my foot down to pull off and the revs dropped, nearly stalled it, put it in neutral, reved a little and the same thing happened, when it had warmed up it was fine, what could be the cause of this?

idling at 1500rpm when blower is on
Z tech put it in for me whilst the engine was out, altogether, the loom cost £200 and labour was £150, its probably more when the engine is in though.

idling at 1500rpm when blower is on
Im not pressing the auto button, im pressing the windscreen blower, i try pressing the econ button but nothing happens, just over 1000rpm at idle without blowers on is still a bit high isnt it? 1500rpm seems to high with blower on dont you think?

idling at 1500rpm when blower is on
1000rpm is high though isnt it? I have an aftermarket electric fan, it never did this before I had my new engine fitted, could any of my mods cause it to rev higher?

Tried pressing the econ button, but nothing happens,It revs higher even if i touch just the windscreen blower, what would cause it to run at 1000rpm instead of 850rpm?

Oil pressure
If I buy a oil pressure gauge, would I still need to get a new oil sender unit?
-
Indicator suggestions
I have just bought these, I will be doing the same thing, as they are so thin I might attach them inside the mesh so that they are out of site, untill I turn them on obviously.

Supra TT vs ZX TT
Depends on what mods have been done on both cars, I think the supra is a tad quicker acceleration wise in standard form.

Oil pressure
Where would the best place to get a new one, how do I replace it? Is it something I could do myself or is it worth booking it in?

Oil pressure
After having the car back, I have noticed on start up, the oil pressure goes just past the 4 on standard gauge, then when warm and at normal driving, it settles to just above the zero, I have been in touch with the mechanic, and he assures me that because their is very thin oil in it (better for running an engine in) it will be low, I will be changing the oil soon to a thicker 15w 40 fully synthetic, hopefully I will see a difference, he also said that the gauge are prone to be faulty, the engine runs absolutly smooth, has this happened to anyone else? Thanks

Gauges
I have an oil temp / pressure gauge, boost gauge and water temp gauge, do I require any other parts to be able to fit these? I already have a boost gauge in the car, is it just a matter of swapping them over? Thanks guys.

That looks like a good idea, would just mesh the gap instead of blocking it off.

Not bad are they, they are the godspeed ones, not bad for under £200.
