Put my foot down for first time since engine was put in
Reliability is most important, if its going to be unsafe then it will not be upped to 24psi, its fast enough at 14psi anyway, it should be imense at 18/19 psi. Thanks for your comment.

Yes, I have new stock hg's and not sure what compression ratio I am set up at, but I have had a compression test and all is ok. Jeff @ zedworld will be talking me through what needs to be done and will be testing everything before I even consider upping the boost.

Would 24psi be unsafe with the mods that I have then? Reliability is the most important thing for me, I thought and have been told that these tubs can handle 28 to 30 psi, thats why I thought of 24psi as it is well below the max and leaves a safe margin, but if 24 is too much then I will be lowering the highest setting, I want as much info as poss before I get an ebc fitted. Thanks

Thanks for that, I will be taking it to Jeff at Zedworld after christmas to make sure everything is ok, he will be installing the ebc, I will only run it at 17psi then untill I can get it mapped by John Dixon or some other compitant person.

420 rwhp @ 14 psi?, What power u running and at what boost. Is their anything else I would need to do before upping the boost to 24psi, obviously their will be 4 settings on the ebc, I think I will go for 0, 9, 17, 24psi, gradually upping the boost, 24 psi leaves a safe margin as I believe these tubs can handle a lot higher boost, plus I only have 555 injectors anyway.

Oh my god, acceleration is mental, god knows what power its putting out, but it feels a lot quicker than my stock one. Mods are jwt 530 tubs @ 14psi, forged engine fully rebuilt, godspeed ic's 555 injectors, rps clutch and lightened flywheel and pulley set, koyo rad and electric fan, egr and water bypass, full exhaust and new wiring loom, probably missed something. What would the estimated whp be at the momment and what do u think it would be when I fit an ebc, highest setting at 24psi? I cant wait.

missus rover 216 loosing water
I think its time to get rid, I think she wants to go back to a p10 primera 2.0, she never ever had problems with it. Could it maybe the matrix leaking, I felt down by the passengers footwell and it is soaking, mind you, a seal had come loose going through the fire wall, it may have been that.

missus rover 216 loosing water
If it was hg, would I get water in the oil?
-
White stuff under filler cap
Could this be just condensation? No white on dipstick and this morning is very chillie, not using water and runs fine, I do get a lot of white steam in the mornings, but I assume this is normal.

missus rover 216 loosing water
I keep filling the water up and it just seems to be vanishing into thin air, I no these cars are prone to head gasket failure but it has had a new one about a year ago, their is no white gunk under the oil cap or the dipstick, the car runs fine, just sounds a bit rough as it had a helicoil fitted as the thread had gone, is their another way the water could be getting into the engine, I have noticed that their is a lot of steam comming from the exhaust even when warm, any suggestions? Thanks Bloody crappy rover engines
