  1. Bottom end was built a year ago, Chris will be building up the top end as there was low compression, but yeah, all labour included.
  2. Oh yeah, will also be comming with the chip and a few other bits and bobs.
  3. My stock tubs need replacing, was going to cost me £2600 for the hybrids and labour all in, but for an extra £1000, im going to be getting all this. The spec of the engine is JWT530BB Turbos and downpipes, full unorthodox racing pulley set, Fidanza Flywheel, RPS Max street clutch, Nismo 555 injectors and wesico pistons. It will be stripped down and rebuilt again by Chris from z tech, new gaskets etc and a full service inc cam belt, head gasket, water pump etc, all parts have done less than a 1000 miles and the engine itself has only done about 50,000 miles, i'm hoping to see high 400bhp, is this a bargain?
  4. Ive made my decision, im gunna go with the new engine, as it will be cheaper in the long run and it is a much higher spec than what I was originally going to do, for example jwt530bb turbos, 555 injectors, wiesco pistons, chip, top end rebuild by z tech, upgraded cluth and fidanda fly wheel, lightened pulley set and the 5 bolt down pipes, all this for an extra £1000 over having just hybrid turbos fitted, cant go wrong really, cant wait for it all to be fitted, I want to run this engine well within its tollerances, probably between 20 and 25 psi, not sure on what power figures I will be achieving, but I can imagine it will be quite rapid compared to what it is now, will have to start saving again for some bigger brakes, all parts have done less than a 1000 miles, all work will be carried out by chris at ztech, he seems like a real genuine bloke, and knows his stuff.
  5. Ceers mate, that would be ideal.
  6. Will thet do the trick though?
  7. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/CXRacing-Intercooler-S-Mount-Turbo-Nissan-90-96-300ZX_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33742QQihZ011QQitemZ320267349929QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW Going to be putting in a higher spec engine next month as my turbo seals have gone, its going to be pushing around 500rwhp, just wondering if these IC's would be any good?
  8. Im even more confused now on what to do , BAZZ has offered me his engine, which has been rebuilt by chris at ztech and chris is willing to buy my engine, what the hell do I do? Everything on Bazz's engine has been upgraded inc clutch and flywheel, it would cost an absolute fortune to get my engine up to that spec in the future, it works out to be about £1000 more to have the new engine, what to I do?
  9. Gunna get it all checked and tested first, hardly ever gets hammered, but I do have my momments, my mate wants to race me in his 2002 m3, dont want to just slightly beet him, I want to thrash him lol
  10. I think iv'e made up my mind, im gunna go with the hybrids @ 19psi maybe , 555 injectors, upgraded intercoolers, I think that would get me quite reliable power, dont no what sort of hp that would give me though, hopefully over the 400 mark.
  11. Thanks for that, I will probably go for the hybrids, what sort of boost can I push safely with the hybrids safely with the mentioned mods?
  12. Already have a koyo rad and electric fan, it has had a bypass done which means nothing to me, could you give me some insight on the benifits of this please?
  13. Been on the phone with Chris at ZTech and he has given me a few options, which are as follows. Cheapest option is to go with the 360 thrust bearings or go with the hybrid internals, which is a bit more expensive, or, which i'm really thinking about is, upgrading to the jwt530bb turbos with 5 bolt downpipes and 555 injectors, the thing is, I no someone who is selling the 530 tubs, 555 injectors and the downpipes for £2000 and they've only done around 600 miles, Chris said he would do the work and charge around £1400 labour which includes a service and tests to the engine and a general check of the car. What would you guys and girls suggest, bearing in mind I use the car every day and would like it to be reliable and easy to live with, only looking at around 400bhp for now, I will be changing the intercoolers too and getting remapped, will be upgrading the clutch and flywheel when I have more money is there any thing else I should think about changing? Your advice would be much appreciated. Thanks
  14. Try cleaning the coil and injector connectors, worked for me for a while, but started hesitating again recently, iv'e just ordered new injector connectors from MJP.
  15. It's starting to do it again, I will just buy some new ones like you said
  16. Nice one mate will do.
  17. I know, I will change them one day, have you got a rough idea on your 0-60 times with those mods, are they 5.5 seconnds standard?
  18. Just changed the two hoses going into each valve, the other hoses look a swine to change, how much for the tubs and downpipes?
  19. Just changed the pcv's and the two hoses connecting to the valves as the car was smoking from the passengers exhaust whilst at temperature, mostly at idle, I took the car for a short run til up to temp, but it is still smoking and it smells oily, the car runs perfect and is boosting at 1 bar with no problems, do you think its time for the dreaded new turbos? Is their any way of checking the rear turbo seals? or is their anyone who lives near pembroke in Wales who knows their stuff, if I were to get new turbos, I think i'd go for the jwt530's. To get low 400's, i'd need to change the injectors ( 555 ) upgrade the intercoolers and get it remapped, are their any other mods that I would need to do to get complete reliability from my z, at the momment it has straight through exhaust, blitz air filter, boost jets (14psi), any advice would be much appreciated.
  20. Ive been looking for a while, will just have to look harder.
  21. My steering wheel is looking a bit worse for ware, I was thinking of replacing it with a 350z wheel, will it go straight on without modification and does anyone know where I could get one from?
