  1. Dont know much, but only going on what's on here, just clean all the connectors and the throttle boddies and see if that makes any differance, it probably will, mine felt like a different car, I have just been out and cleaned the throttle boddies and the car is now running sweet. Bloody alarm went off though as soon as I reconnected the negative to the battery, and my ear was right next to the alarm next to the battery, bloody thing lol, after you clean them, if its hard to start and is running rough and smokes a bit, dont worry, I think its supposed too as mine did, but it sorted itself out after a few seconds.
  2. 1992 pearl white uk tt manual with black leather k****cba
  3. Nice one, I will take a pic later and pm you.
  4. I have an 1993 L reg jap 300zx tt manual, the rear seat belts are just lap belts and the front belts are attached to the doors, my old car which was a 1992 uk tt manual and the front seat belts were on the pillars and had 3 point belts in the rear, is my car older than what it says on the logbook, if so what year?
  5. All I did was take the cover off the top of the engine which says Nissan v6 3000 on it, their are connectors, mine are orange, what ever connectors you see, pull them apart, and sand the pins with emery bourd, and spray the two sides of the connector with contact cleaner ( I used wd40 ). I will be cleaning the throttle boddie's out this weekend, as I have read on here that this can cause hesitating and cutting out too. I hope this is helpfull, i'm no mechanic at all but reading threads on here, some things I will be able to do myself for once lol.
  6. Hi people, just thought i'd keep you posted, just been outside cleaning all the conections, found two connections that were worse than all the rest, a lot of green corrosion on the two orange plugs under the plennum cover, turned the car on and hip hip horray run at around 900rpm without a blip, took it for a drive and diddnt hesitate once, thanks to this site and other peoples experiance's, it has been the cheapest fix ive ever had. Thanks guys.
  7. nice one matey, will do that next week some time.
  8. You can tell I obviously no nothing about these cars yet, I am learning though thanks to this club.
  9. Their is a hissing noise comming from the rear of my exhausts behind the petrol tank around by the diff, what valves could be stuck? could this be the cause of my exhaust smoking now and again?
  10. I will keep you posted, hope it's the valves and not the tubs.
  11. I will get a compression test done first. The car seems not to smoke all the time only now and again, doesn't smoke when cold, and hardly ever when warm and never on boost, only ever seem to notice it sometimes when I reverse and then it sometimes starts smoking on idle, then the smoke will just dissapear. Just ordered a set of pcv's and hoses, could this make a differance?
  12. Not long bought it, so I havn't, how do you do this? Would the pcv's make a differance?
  13. Noticed lately, when cold, taking the foot off the accelerator, I can feel a slight hesitation, a very slight jerking sensation, and the other day came up to a junction, foot on the clutch, it reved to 2000rpm then dropped to normal, I have ordered new pcv's for it but could it be down to anything else. All is ok when warm. Can anyne shed any light on this?
  14. Thank god I never bought them, glad i'm a member, will save me a lot of money in the long run. cheers.
  15. Thanks guys, the seatbelts are on the doors, I had a 92 uk tt before and the belts were on the pillars, whats the differance between a series 1 and 2 and what does ptu mean?
  16. I wont bother with that just yet then, do the intercoolers look like a good buy or not?
  17. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/GODSPEED-90-96-300ZX-Z32-12X7-5X3-5-S-MOUNT-INTERCOOLER_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33742QQihZ022QQitemZ350063353627QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW Thinking about getting some of these, would they be worth getting or would it be safer to go with the Greddy intercoolers? Also wondering, would it be wise to lower the rear of the car with just the springs as I just want to alter the stance of the car? Your opinions will be most appreciated.
  18. Cheers mate, I think it needs to be lowered a little on the rear though.
  19. Just thought I should share my zed with everyone.
  20. Hi mate, Iv'e just bought some pcv's from Smithy'd place £80 delivered, they come with all the hoses too.
  21. The only way I am gunna sell my zed is if I come out of work, I cycle when I can and hardly putting any miles on it, cant imagine turning up to a show with a fiesta lol
  22. I'm not that mechanicaly minded, so I suppose it's not a bad deal, moght get an old shed 300zx so I can get familiar with it.
  23. I bloody hope not lol, have a look on their website, cant find another recovery service that does repair.
