  1. On the Passenger side tub its common for the oil pipe to clog like an artery this starves the turbo of oil which seizes up with no smoke as it has no oil supply.Usually the only thing the owner notices is a distinct lack of power.
  2. e bay has become a dung heap of late where its commonplace for turds to be offered for sale under a carefully worded advert which ensures no come back once the buyer realises they have been had.The times ive heard people say if something is f**ked "oh well i will sell it on e bay then"
  3. It should not be a problem as the car has been converted to a manual.autos have 3 plugs by the fuse box, manuals have two.its probaly a connection issue causing your problem.you have a consult or done an ecu check? some faults dont always cause a code to be logged in the ecu so its worth checking any connections you know you disturbed and cleaning any corrosion off the terminals and tightening the pins.Check your cas connection. The ecu reads the engine has been cranked via the cas then latches the fuel pump ecu.
  4. No bud,its ok to swap cams from one head to another.
  5. Probaly got dropped.Cams are hardened which makes them very brittle.
  6. Twin plate clutches shouldnt be necessary at his end of the scale. When your talking 600rwhp + then its time to get one.A Single plate will hold his power fine.
  7. as long as your running an aftermarket gearbox oil cooler then yes.
  8. That clutch plate looks ok as the grooves have not gone BUT it is not able to cope with the cars power so will fry soon prolly. That flywheel is the same as mine.Set of plates cost $190 iirc.
  9. Did the clutch force itself off the flywheel once the bolts were undone? This is a good sign the plate may be salvageable. Its the plate we need to see mate to judge if its had it.If your flywheel is an RPS syn r g then the friction plates can be replaced if they are buckled.Z1 sell the kit.
  10. leave the n/s rack clamp off until you have removed and refitted the drivers side.It will come out much easier.
  11. they can be done in situ with a bit of wrestling.dropping the crossmember is rather severe.Getting the old one out is easy.Try some washing up liquid or similar to help ease the bush in.
  12. Have you drove the car, they will never burn off the soot at idle after a cold start.
  13. Was he in a red van with stickers over the side of it? Daryll may know him.
  14. yep just checked on Sigmas site http://www.toadplc.com/sigma Just tried the link and its as much use as a man with no legs in an arse kicking competition. But It proves they are the same company.
  15. Try Sigma.they are the same company so im told.
  16. Jeez give me strength :headvswal
  17. M5,s dont hold value for shit.check their prices.
  18. It shouldnt lose its setting when you disconnect the battery so you should be fine.
  19. My sentiment exactly.Dont get mad,get even
  20. Sounds like the box is dead bud,if it has the correct amount of oil and no drive it points to one thing im afraid,Its worth Checking the filter though to see if its blocked but it still means a replacement is on the cards.
  21. You may as well import it yourself, they dont have agents in the uk.you will find people willing to get you them in though.
  22. ACT !! thats what im running,i cant fault mine so far its never slipped once with all the all the abuse ive given it,even my sticky Bridgestone s02 285,s cant get it to slip.Ive been lucky with it then by the sounds of it!!
  23. What clutch you running Mark to tame all that power? Im only using a chocalate paddle clutch bought from E bay USA but its handled my cars torque no problem(370lb)
  24. Yeh bud,SRB were agents for them over here but they dont deal with them anymore.
  25. According to RPS the single disc max clutch in paddle form is capable of taming over 600lb of torque!! The twin plates are more user friendly but hefty on the wallet :sweatdrop: heres a link http://www.titanmotorsports.com/30tt27lbmaxs.html
