  2. Hi all i live in Horley Surrey and have had a white z32 tailgate stolen from near my car..It was ready to go on and was helping to hold down the car cover until i had a few days to get sorted. It is white and distinctive as where the rubber part with nissan and twin turbo decals go it was all flush. My neighbour apparently has the registration of van that was used to steal it and am waiting for him to get in touch before i waste my time calling the police, any other advice tracing this van when i get reg number would be appreciated cheers.
  3. Hi all,a bit of advice wanted,i want to strip the black rubbery stuff off on the trim along targa top, down side of windows to leave it chrome coloured. What is the best way to remove this without scratching it? Cheers for any answers

  7. Hi Marky i agree with Arthur,i bought an auto 300zx z32 and despite doing less than 10000 miles in last 5 years am on my 3rd auto box.I have a manual box and bits and bobs to go with it but need to get it on road first before i go down manual route.Or maybe cut my losses and just save up and buy a manual car. Autos are total pony in my personal experience.
  8. Afternoon all,can anyone recommend a good car cover for a car kept outside, mine is starting to split.I really do not want to buy anything Chinese if i can help it although they do seem a lot cheaper than other options. As usual any help appreciated.
  9. Nice one cheers fellas, while you are here can i get some advice from you.I need a cambelt change with some other work.Jap performance near me have quoted £65 an hour,is this standard?

  12. Hi all been trying to contact this guy as need some work doing but phone is dead.Anyone have any luck contacting him?.Phone was ok last week.
  13. Damn i see photos like this and want to get cracking on z again when today's plan was chill with couple of bottles of wine!!!!!!..
  14. Ok cheers for that Gaz i was just wondering what makes these wings different from the moulds of z centre.Banzai seemed quite adamant the z centre were crap fit etc.
  15. Ok i have seen these on ebay im kind of interested although i wasn't really looking at changing wings for a while. Now the people selling them Banzai breakers i contacted and asked if we could do a deal as i thought 400 was steep for 2nd hand when z centre do them for 480 brand new.I was told the Z centre ones are a poor fit and these will fit perfectly, hmmm is there any truth in this or are they just trying it on.I do not know this place so its an impartial question.Cheers
  16. Hope it all goes well kia,my 1990 300zx has sat for a year and a half and at 72000 miles needs a cambelt change before i even think of starting it up again. Id really like someone local that can do the work in our private car park but no one seems to want to touch it.I hope to have all the bits i need from concept z by may and it might be a case of spending extra and taking it down to Bristol and leaving it for a while and get sorted properly.Anyway let us know how things progress for you as it gives others inspiration.
  17. When we were in Shenzhen,we were in a hotel on the outskirts near the airport, the Bao'an district and looking for a pharmacy as i was bitten to hell by the mozzies.Anyway we stumbled across a locals market.Me seeing a dark alley with light at the end thinking yep lets go down here...It opened into a square which was fruit/Veg/Fish etc sold from garages?.there was no strange stuff at all live fishes in tanks is quite normal. And although i have only been there 3 times i have not seen any really strange stuff(that's not to say it does not exist).I think there is more to this than the bat eating stories we are told.As an aside i have had some of the best food ever in China and met some amazingly friendly people including a young lad on the Guangzhou tube practicing his pretty much perfect English on us.The CCP however......
  18. I work at Gatwick and am off til further notice i took the cover off 300 today and started to clear mold that had built up over last year and a half, and mold inside...Yuck..white vinegar to hand.. however i will share a story with you that has made me think a bit about things quite a lot...November 2019 myself and she who must be obeyed boarded a late night flight Heathrow to Guangzhou. We spent a week in the Guangzhou/Shenzhen area before flying Guangzhou to Saigon on Dec 3rd.When we arrived at Saigon we were met on the tarmac by China Southern reps(i have traveled a bit and never had this before). They told us our flights from Saigon to Wuhan then onwards to London were cancelled and we would have to make alternative arrangements..This worried us a bit and then i thought fuck it have a few beers sort it in morning.Next day we went to China Southern in Saigon and they sorted us flights from Guangzhou back to London. We then had our holiday and flew Saigon/Hanoi,whilst in Hanoi i got a flu/cold felt a bit rough,Other half who is a senior nurse had worst headaches she can imagine(even worse than Friday nights!!).This was around 2 weeks after first arriving in China. Now this could be coincidence but no one will convince me now,I believe the Chinese knew about this before November 2019 and never let the world know.I hope we have already had it and wont get it again but urge all of you to take it seriously and hope no one gets it.On a political standing i really think we need to re evaluate our trade deals with China when this is over.Sorry for going on but this has been in my head for 3 months now. Keep safe.
  19. A more rocking song from the mighty Shinedown
  20. The Awesome Shinedown who i saw 3 times last year.
  21. Cheers for reply Richard i eventually went with Carole Nash who quoted me £170.I am on the lookout for a garage nearby for the future.
  22. Ok peeps,I have run into a bit of a hitch today.I want to insure the car whilst it is off the road and having work done.It is parked in a private car park but having contacted Hagerty and Lancaster they will not insure it to be restored/un road worthy/private car park, but will if it was in a garage. Can anyone advise of a company that might be able to offer insurance whilst being restored/in a private parking area whilst i look at bloody garages miles away!!!!!.Cheers for any replies.
  23. Hi Andrew sorry for delay. No i do not recall any flashing warning lights. The car has been off the road for about a year and a half now so when the new discs,Caliper rebuilds etc are done i will know more but i certainly recall no warning lights.
