Before i took my 1990 JDM TT auto off the road 2018 the brakes were locking up big time under hard braking.I skidded 3 times and thought this scares the crap out of me!!!I have got uprated 350z discs,New pads,And bits and bobs from Concept Z to make them fit and hopefully in couple of months will dismantle and rebuild calipers,Use stainless steel lines and brakes will be better than before.Does anyone know if 1990 JDM came with ABS as obviously if this could be faulty i will pull ABS unit out and have it rebuilt or replaced.Cheers.

In my personal opinion hammerite looks great and does the job,Others might have a different opinion.

I was more at Surrey meets with my 280ZX BRD774T,Have photos somewhere,But spent a few nights with Ken in his local pubs and his office!! which was the happy eater if i recall, then having to get back next morning for work after crashing on his sofa.2 Z/ZX legends sorely missed.

Hi all,I will say hello although not new,I was last here about 3 years ago a lot of stuff has happened which knocked me out of the car scene and other things for a while parents going to a better place,New relationships etc and general life.Anyway i have a 1990 300zx twin turbo auto.....yuk...have owned tons of 260/280zx in the past and i will get on your nerves asking questions.Thats about it for now.......

Blimey this is the first time ive been back for about 3 years and first story i click on is Mikes death.I knew him and Ken Chelton RIP back in the day when South East Z club held meetings at the halfway house. i got my first 280zx which Ken modded with bits from Mike.Then i had a 280zx 2 seat pile of rust home fitted with a janspeed turbo kit which Mike bought from me.Various 260Zs that Mike provided bits for with his USA contacts and i remember watching him drag race from the bronze 240z with v8 chevvy to the 280zx with big block.Shit what a great start to coming back into the z fold!!!.He was an unbelievable mind of information on every Z/ZX which i dont think will ever be matched.RIP Fella very probably the biggest Z/ZX fan in the UK....
