Hi guys.

I appreciate there is the Howmanyleft website. But how accurate is it.

I've checked my new TT auto LWB U.K. Spec. The site says it's the only one left in the country.

How true could this be and is there a definitive way of finding this out?

Cheers Edd

About as accurate as Labour's fiscal policy. Richard Smith's auto is certainly not the only UK road legal auto left in the country and I am sure there are a number of autos that have been converted to manual that would appear on there as a auto.

The UK ones are inaccurate and the imports are even more inaccurate as they were registered as all sorts of things by the variety of importers over the year. I wouldn't take a blind bit of noticed of that site.

....I also think you were looking at the wrong date. There are actually no roadworthy ones left as of 2017 according to that. It also appears there are Z31 models in there too. If you type in 'Fairlady' you get yet more.

As Si has already indicated the figures are utter garbage.

Sadly there is no way of getting an accurate and definitive on the Z32 numbers in the UK.

Ok. With no definitive way of finding out I will go ahead with stripping it and storing the chassis for another day

What colour is it?

It's red and a early J reg.

It's been abused inside and out. Lots of rust and rubbish interior choices

What's the paint work like?

Paint work could do with a good mop and polish. Besides the sills and lower parts of front arches which are shot. Rest of it is good to the eye so far.

My imported 300s number plate is registered with the DVLA as a "Nissan/other". the insurance companies see it as a z31, so i get quotes that are £100 or less. I have to keep making sure that they have choosen z32 and it adds about another £150 on...

1990 Black MT NA LWB = 2014 - 2020 (Sold)

1991 Red MT TT LWB = 2015 - 2017 (Stripped & Scrapped)

1991 Red MT TT LWB = 2017 - 2021 (Sold)

1991 Black MT TT LWB = 2018 - 2021 (Sold)

1989 Red AT TT LWB = 2021 - XXXX (Kept)

In the past I've known peoples cars in the past to be anything. One was a Pimera on the V5.

Your location says Arundel lol. Not that Bognor is far from there.

Don't do FB I'm afraid.

Ahhhhh. Well I am sure we can communicate here and arrange something.

The bonnet is not actually that bad for its age but I need a chance to strip the engine etc before I loose panels that will expose anything to the elements.
