Been for sale for a while now and not sure if it was posted here before but this is a rare UK 300zx with low miles and ultra rare colour. (yes they did have a yellow UK 300zx) Colour looks odd in pictures so I hope its not a respray.

I'd compared wheelman's car to the citrine yellow UK car merely stating that wheelman's car is the correct pearl yellow, not the citrine yellow as shown on the different UK car......quite easy to understand really. ;)

 

It is now that I can see the picture. :biggrin: Think I need a drink.

What a shame someone painted an apparently nice UK spec Zed in "highlighter-pen-yellow!".....:nono:

 

I have, however, always liked that pearl yellow J-spec car. Wasn't it also owned by Sideshowbob?

Would the colour not have faded like that?

Not sure really that would happen, looks like an extra coat of pearl has been added to the outside.

They always are on pearl cars. Nissan only ever painted the engine bays and door shuts in the base colour. Looks like it's likely had a blow over though, however likely in the original colour too.

I should never have sold the almost new Version S and Version R I had.

 

Still plenty of excellent ones knocking around Japan ;) Prices have probably gone up though!

Were you! I had a few, I've had about 13 to 15 Z's to date. I was selling 2 Versions models in the same color around the time GIO bought the one he has. The Version R cars were in different colors, one from memory was a dark purple with the red interior like GIOs car, and BBS rims....and sold by Nissan in this SPEC. The other was Yellow with Recaros....

Lo its described as a "Bluebird Zx Turbo" on DVLA but with a 3.0 litre engine Lol

Yeah I seen that Jeff, checked it on my system too lol, No Idea why they put it on as Bluebird; But DVLA do Feck up allot of stuff. The old girl was a lovely Manual car too. It was years ago when I had it.

 

I have special edition Iveco Daily 35c18, but DVLA have it marked as 35c12, another fault on there behalf.

I had my first zed near 20 years ago, a black beauty with Alley cat wheels and a Veilside ecu fitted, made my Sierra Cosworth I had prior seem slow.....memories!!

I bought that yellow one off mine in 95 maybe 96, it was just completely original standard car, show stopper on the road as you can imagine. My friend had a white UK original one too at the same time. I wanted his lol.

 

I also had the Mitsubishi 3000GT at the same time I had the Z, very nice car. Felt a bit safer to drive with the 4WD but also felt much heavier to driver, I then had the New shape Supra TT. That car was just an animal in standard form. Had the RX7 too, didn't like it, my mother had the RX8, she liked it.

 

I just kept coming back to the Z, just love it.

The 300zx gets under your skin Sudesh and you will not be happy till you get another one mate.

I don't think I've ever been as jealous as I am right now.

I agree though, as much as I'd love to own all of those cars (and more), I'd always prefer the Z.
