Since buying my Brembo GTR calipers, I'm obviously doing a complete rebuild on them, but I'm having trouble deciding on what colour to do them. I personally can't stand anything other than neutral colours, so black, silver, grey and anywhere in between.

I had thought about getting them done silver with black or grey lettering in a high gloss....but not too sure about that.

Another choice would be to do them a high gloss metallic grey with a silver lettering, similar to the 370z Nismo calipers - but with a higher more detailed shine.

Or....I have considered a shadow-chrome effect....but not too sure if this is cheesy or not. It's not an 'in-yer-face' finish, it's quite subtle....with black lettering. Similar finish to the wheels of this M5.

Black on your car Si. Mine are red, I think it's ok though as brembos are traditionally red and it colour codes with the car.

They currently are black and I'm not too sure. I'd sooner do a really dark metallic grey.

See if the powdercoaters have a grey that's a close match for the colour you had your 'tache and mirror bases painted.

Everything ties together then and you can finish it off with either silver script or something like the body colour of your car. :thumbup1:

Si for your car *( which i adore by the way ) personally i would go for smoke chrome its a very subtle effect but shouts performance , white lettering would look nice or silver

Go traditional, gold with red lettering !

No way José! Too fussy!

Dark Gray, any other colour, even silver will look out of place

Y'see, I've given my opinion and that means we can now close this thread!

:thumbup1:

This is how mine look right now, i think the silver is a nice contrast to the wheels and the red lettering ties in with the red paintwork.

need to do rears now to make it all tie in together

Loving the 2 piece DBA5000 discs with the floating hats, I was tempted by them myself!

Either of those Si - nothing else!

I'm not a fan of coloured calipers; and although I know you'll keep them clean and tidy, black or dark grey will at least not show the dirt!

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:
