Zed on Pistonheads for sale (Nissan - 'other models' category)

Hi,

Long time no see from a former member.

Mods - I have made a BACS payment today to renew my membership, so I hope this does not fall foul of any club regulations.

I AM SELLING MY ZED - I will advertise on here as soon as my membership is updated.

For now, my car can be found in the 'Other models' section under 'Nissan' on Pistonheads (Dont ask me why it's in that section - I'm trying to get it moved).

Please spread the word as I am really wanting a quick sale.

If anyone has any questions, I will be happy to answer them here!

Many thanks!

Leo

Yes, Jimmer did the engine mods - with a bill of nearly 7k to prove!

I would just like to add, that the engine issues (please see ad on Pistonheads) are in no way related to sub standard work - Jimmer did did a excellent job of rebuilding my engine. I believe the current issues with it relate to an isolated incident when the engine ran hot after dropping all it's coolant from a perished radiator hose. At the time, I thought no damage was done, but slowly piecing everything together, this incident may well have been the culprit.

I can't see it lasting long at that price tbh. Good luck mate

What price?

What price?

£1k, no offers.

Very very very very interested!

What's up with it? What condition is the rest of the car? Any rust anywhere? What mods does it have?

All over this like a tramp with hot chips. :)

Didn't you say you couldn't do bodywork or paintwork...?

The exterior of the car is not in great condition. There is no rust at all, but the condition of the paint, and front bumper in particular, is poor - it will require replacing or a thorough repair job. The wings, doors and rear quarters are in generally good condition, but the tailgate and bonnet have suffered from paint fade. As you can see from the photos, the car looks great, but closer inspection will reveal many imperfections in keeping with a 19 year old car with original paintwork.

That's where it mentions about the bodywork.

I would be interested at a grand. I would return this car to the road also i'm not looking to break it. I'm assuming it will need to be trailered ?

Doesn't sound driveable if it's using both oil and water, mate.

Car is driveable - last time I drove it was down from scotland, but that was before the heater matrix let go. If you have a lengthy journey, you'd need to keep an eye on the water level. To be fair, you wouldn't necassarily notice there was an engine issue, the smoke/steam isn't always noticeable and it still goes like stink. Price is keen, as I'd like it gone. Someone will get a very good car at the end of it. Current problems not withstanding. Time for me to move on. All enquiries welcome - but use the number on Pistonheads if you're really keen. Thanks for all the comments.

If it's driveable, even better. :)

Your name's not Mike Brewer is it!?! lol
