Hi guys,

 

Not looking to give out exact details just yet but due to strange circumstances, my Z has gone missing. I am off course in the process of hunting down the people involved. But putting it up here too hoping I get some luck with it being spotted somewhere.

 

It should be somewhere in the London area. More precisely, HOUNSLOW, SOUTHALL, EALING, UXBRIDGE and ACTON.

 

Pics are attached and it is now a manual. (pics show auto)

 

Incase someone comes across some aftermarket parts, the items should be as follows: -

 

WINGS WEST style front bumper but not fibre glass, ORIGINAL

VIPER STYLE CARBON FIBRE BONNET with side pins. It's been painted in the past at some point but the paintwork now is it in real bad state with lacquer peeling alot.

Can't remember the name of the side skirts but definitely different than the normal.

REAR ARCH EXTENSIONS not carbon fibre wrapped.

MID LEVEL REAR SPOILER

VEILSIDE REAR BUMPER

19 INCH CRUIZE 135s (I believe they are called) ALLOYS

LIGHT GREY/BLACK COMPLETE LEATHER INTERIOR

HKS FRONT MOUNT INTERCOOLER

HARD INTERCOOLER PIPES UNDERBONNET WITH BRAIDED BALANCE HOSE IN THE 2 MIDDLE ONES.

REAR QUARTER GLASS KIT WHICH LIGHTS UP 300ZX IN GREEN.

ILLUMINATED DOOR SILLS THAT LIGHT UP GREEN.

 

These are the upgrades seen at first instant.

Just glad you got it back but pity its now bent. Hope you get it fixed zee and any pics of the damage to see if its fixable.

Just in case pal I would keep an eye on eBay etc.... I'm sure one looking like this was on eBay recently don't hold me to that though as I may be wrong also as you have many more I would also keep an eye out for parts resembling yours as you would possibly get more breaking so yes eBay auto trader and gumtree

Christ. On the *very* rare occasions I've let someone behind the wheel of my car it's always been on the "you break it you bought it" premise. Hope he pays up...

I've only let one of my friends drive my Z, but that was under close supervision as I was filming it. You've got to be mad just to hand the keys over regardless of how good a mate he is. ACTUALLY....Jimmer's driven my Z, but that's a whole other story!...Jimmer's Dad (Old_Zed) has too!

Stupid me I know. But it is my reality. Can't change the past, gotta decide where to go with this. Go big or call it quits and I'm more on the sides of going big. By that I do mean a full makeover but gotta be sensible.

About 8 years ago, I was on holiday with my mates and asked my girlfriend (now wife :huh:) to pick us up from the airport. As she drove a Z3 she had to use my 300 and I said to her, if there is ANY rain, take it very easy.

 

She got about 2 miles from home before writing it off on a dual carriageway coming from a roundabout :lol:

You have to stop being silly here, I know it may be uncomfortable but you have to report that car as stolen. What if it's involved in an accident? Friends don't disappear in other friends cars, that's called beinga thief or at the very least an ass hole. Good luck.

 

I have to agree with Steve there.....

 

....especially if the car is still insured in your name Zee. If it is involved in an accident, then the MID database will show you as the insured and could still come after you for third party compensation; particularly if the "friend" you loaned the car to fails to come forward. Similarly, you might come home one day to a letter-box full of NIPs for who knows how many traffic offences!!

 

And finally, it is your car mate!! You paid your hard earned cash to buy, and run, what looks like a rather nice 300zx - don't let some "so called" mate take that away from you and abuse your good nature. No more deadlines, no messing, report it to the police and state the exact date that you handed the car over to his care!!

Yes guys I sincerely do appreciate all your concerns and points all of you have raised and taking them into account and will do what's best and safe for me. Big thanks to all your input. I got the car back last night at 1am and saw the damage properly today in daylight. Needed to see the car and hear what had happened face to face which I have been told so can only go forward from here. He was trying to get quotes on getting it fixed but didn't get a booking. Well so he says anyway. It was rammed into a fence or something of that sort. There is no colour of another car anywhere on the body and all 4 wheels are chipped and light damaged that kinda indicates stones or something hitting them while it had lost traction. Otherwise there is no reason for the wheels on the other side to have that damage if it was just the one side that has taken the hit. For now, payment for the damage and whole car respray has been agreed. So need to get it to a bodyshop asap and get this going. Will see what happens then when I get quotes and take it from there.

Glad you are getting it sorted. Still no excuse for going AWOL for so long and causing you so much stress! No good deed goes unpunished!
