So its finally happening after been off the road for well over a year the zed is on Target for its refurbishment.

Last year I started with doing all the underbody suspension stuff to make the ride more stable and after that

I decided I wanted to do a full strip down to the bare shell and start from scratch to create a show quality z32.

After much bad luck and many thousands of pounds wasted on rotted zeds i'm cracking on with the original plan.

So as a quick update i'll post some older picks followed over the next few weeks by an overall progress report.

Starting off with how she was when I first purchased her 3 years ago until the state she is now then showing the

strip down and all the bad luck I've had.

So here she is as I bought her :

Well done mate! Great looking car.

Every Z journey is a personal one and yours has been epic by the looks of things.

You must be chuffed.

Finally got a plate made to fit my two new rads,

Didn't exactly fit the way I wanted first time but I improvised and drilled two new holes and mounted

the supporting bracket over the new plate and it seems to be secure enough as well as looking great.

The black cooler is for the engine oil and the smaller one is to cool the PAS fluid.

I'm likely going to ditch the braided hose as it feels very soft and nowhere near as tough as the other

that's pictured.

As you can see the lady sneaks out the garage just enough so I can open the doors, any more then I doubt I could push her back in.

Top Work Lee do you think you will make it to the Blackpool run ? Cant wait to see that house of kolor paintjob.

Looks stunning!

But please do something about those wheels:lol::lol:

Once they are sorted it will really look great mate.

Very jealous.

Wheels just need need a bloody good clean, and I like them so tuff :tt2:

I might have to agree, black looks too aggressive and don't think goes with the body colour, it's for another day as i bet your itching to get it all finished but i'd be looking at powder coat chrome, certainly something along those lines.
