This rare Nissan interior was available on the 89 Z32 model and looks like a left over from the Z31 era......not sure I could live with that?

I'd like that - but I'm a big fan of 70s American cars so that's probably why :)

Option on the US market models, it's not that the hand brake is on the wrong side, it's that the steering wheel is lol (pretty sure image has been flipped)

Red interior is all the rage in UAE

Yep, was just about to say the same. Its a LHD US market Z with the image flipped. You see a few on the U.S Site, I've posted pictures of it here a few times.

It was never an option in the U.S or Europe....it seems we have far better taste.

I kind of like that but prefer black. Does the z31 interior fit the 32 eg centre panels. Obviously I'm aware certain aspects won't.

So do we dislike the overall colour? Or more the fact that everything's that colour...?

The second bit mate.....

.....I actually like the red seats - and I reckon that extending the red leather on the lower dash and lower door cards would look good (on the right colour car, of course). But the whole interior being red - and the red tweed.... No thanks:no:

Richard:wink:

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Just to clarify, us spec cars DO NOT have Thier handbrake on the left hand side. It seems Nissan didn't bother to swap the position of the handbrake, really crack handed to be reaching over the centre consol. Which further supports theory of a flipped image.

The red interior has nice aspects the cards and under dash arnt it. Smithys old car had deep red seats etc, that was bloody lovely.

The 350s handbrake issue is probably down to two aspects, Nissan is now part of Renault. It is also a product economy building, cut corners and compromises. Thier market and base is lhd so they won't worry themselves with our awkward little country, it's far cheaper to leave the handbrake on the wrong side. My vw van is the same, it's quite obviously a lhd vechile with the steering wheel on the right. Rear visability is terrible.

Not quite correct, in 1999 Both Nissan and Renault signed an Alliance agreement. They are partners rather than being part of the Renault group. Probably the reason why 99.9% of Nissans newer models are pig ugly.. lol

I think Renault are the ones pulling the purse strings mate.

probably right on that..

Step away from the sowing machine Si!

HA Ha you just know its going to be red leather all over and a model Foetus stuck on the gear knob he's currently looking for :w00t:

Telepathic much...??

Flip the image and it makes more sense.

but it still has the handbrake on the wrong side to the driver :lol:

I think its the red plastics and dashboard pieces in particular. Red leather can look great in my opinion, especially in a black car.

But I generally dislike any plastics other than black.

My Z had the rare Blue Factory interior originally, which I entirely replaced as soon as I got it.

Yup, as Lee has said, no matter what orientation, the handbrake levers are on the right hand side. I can't stand the red interior. I don't know what's worse though, the tan or the red. Late model tan interiors were a little nicer as they had black dashes and door card cappings.

Looks like something a 1970s pimp would have !

Huggy bear from starsky and hutch would love that, feather adorned hat, glass soled platform boots with live goldfish in the heels,A line flares and a fur coat !!

I do love a black or dark coloured car with red leather seats. There was a very nice 300zx at JAE in 2011 with a nice red leather retrim but have not seen it since.

that looks amazing IMHO, apart from the steering wheel. That needs to go back to black

I agree about the steering wheel. It's a little too much and looks out of place.

All I'm gonna say here is this: watch this space..... ;)
