Jeff TT signing off (Zedworld)

Well it is with a heavy heart that I announce from today my 14+ year association with the 300zx and the owners both on and not on this forum will come to an end.

It has been a long educational business trip that has supplied a huge amount of highs and a few odd blips but as a whole its been a buzz, and to say it has been a big part of my life is a major understatement.

Of course its has not been all of my making and it would be remit of me to not mention a few names that have been instrumental in the building and maintaining of the Zedworld creation.

A big thanks to Jamie our son who worked along side me for the best part of eight years and whilst learning fast he still managed to show the old man a few tricks along the way!

A big thanks to Danielle our daughter who helped with many of the open day functions helping make the visitors feel welcome with chat, tea and food ( cooked by Lynda)

A super big thanks to my lovely Lynda of which many of you guys will know well, Lynda has been the cement in the Zedworld building blocks, keeping not only the large administration side of the business in order but dealing as a front of house host with chat, tea / coffer and toast to many, there is simply no way Zedworld could have become what it has without Lynda`s support and help.

With the future of the 300zx to carry on for years to come we thought it was time for us to take a break and let new blood take the Zedworld brand forward, so we are off to semi retirement in Portugal, but will pop back on here now and again I am sure.

So there we have it, its been a huge blast guys and girls and whilst I am about to sign off I do have one more announcement and that is Zedworld is to carry on under new management so whilst bidding farewell from me and the Zedworld gang I would like you to welcome the new owner's and join me in wishing them well in their new venture, I expect they will be along very soon to tell you more of their future plans, I will be about for a week or so during hand over so if there any questions or concerns please either pm me or e-mail me at jeff@zedworld.co.uk

A massive thanks to all of our customers many of which have become good friends and thanks to the 300zx forum for providing a platform for us and you all to enjoy the Nissan 300zx

Farewell to all

I am gutted that I never actually got to come and meet you Jeff....

I wish you all the best for your semi retirement and golf lessons in Portugal....lol

Take care.... Russ

Watching my Z disintegrate on my driveway!!!

Good luck for the future Jeff. Enjoy every minute of a well earned semi retirement.

Daffy.

All the best for the future. :)

Guess I'd better ring you pretty sharpish if I want to get some history on my car...!!!

Very sad news :( - my first of many invoices from ZedWorld was from 2004 and if it wasn't for their knowledge and ability to diagnose and repair faults then I quite simply wouldn't be a Z owner today; I would have given up long ago. It's great to hear that the company is still going - the new owners have a very high standard to maintain ;)

All the best for the future Jeff!

It is indeed a sad day Jeff - sad for all Zedders that the Z32 master has hung up his cape.....

.....But you have certainly earned your retirement Jeff; so on a personal note I thank you for all your help with my ZX(s) over the years. And from the club's point of view, on behalf of the committee, moderators and membership, a very, very big thanks for your contribution to all 300zx related matters over the last 14 years!!

I know I'm not alone when I say you'll be a tough act to follow; but I also know that you will have left Zedworld in safe hands. I wish the new owners all the best - and congratulate you on your retirement to the sunshine matey. I'll miss you - and I'm as jealous as hell - but congratulations!!

All the best Jeff, Lynda, Jamie, Danielle; and to everyone else in the Zedworld family who made it what it is today. Thanks and good luck for the future!!

A big, BIG part of the Zed community is leaving................Well, Portugal...after 3000m miles round europe with no problems...Time for a 'Run to the Sun' Portugal style!!!! Who's in??

Gutted to have not been able to get the Jeff Zedworld treatment on the zed before it gave up the ghost, but did receive much advice and help on the way!

Happy retirement Jeff and wishing you and lynda a great retirement in Portugal.
