I did that too - best way IMO, otherwise you'll pay almost as much as the spoiler again, in shipping etc! Mike did mine for around £230 to my door, it might take a few weeks longer but definitely worth it....:thumbup:

Looks odd having the black stripe over the side skirts... I see why Nissan didn't do that

Some did come with the groove filled with black strip from the factory.

Most did iirc carries onto the front and rear bumpers, think that strips too dark because they are a dark grey in practice, ( well on the zeds I've owned it was)

 

I'm retaining mine after the respray, found a set of side skirts that should work with the strips.

IMO I prefer it without the groove at all, makes the body smoother.

But then again there isn't any on the rear bumper, and the scarab front doesn't even have the grooves.
