  • We did a video earlier this week, the Z hasn't been out the garage since July 2020. So happy for this, this is miles away from professional video, and the guy who helped me with the drone and editing,

This is a properly useless post without pictures!

Zed #2: 1998 Midnight Purple 2+2 NA. (owned 2020 - now)

Zed #1: 1995 Blue Slicktop NA (2013-2015)

Rang Jimmer today and got car booked in this week to have 60k cambelt change, Koyo radiator and pipes fitted, gearbox & diff oil change, all brake lines replaced and car undersealed and a general check over as he's not seen the car before (although he has seen the engine before and recalled all of the details of the engine immediately which he built for another customer in 2009 - better memory for me that's for sure!!)

Hopefully going to nip by the body shop when I pick the car up to see about finally getting the respray done later in the year.

Not today, but last weekend; I pulled the cover off, inflated the tyres to the right pressures and connected the battery.

Fired straight up and I pulled her out the garage, swept the dust/leaves away. Hopefully get her taxed in the next couple of weeks.

Put a good few miles on the beast this weekend..obviously trying not to press that loud pedal to much as Julie goes nuts at me ? but roof off and plenty of smiles over the last few days really enjoying what we/jimmer have built ?

Seems a few of us took the Zeds out over the weekend.

I did a run to Henlow & back yesterday.

Surprised at how well the traffic flowed, no hold ups only the 50 mph restriction on M20 for 17 miles!

Picked car up from Jimmer's today, he's done a fantastic job. Some nice zeds in at the mo, Richard yours pulled up just as I was leaving!

Nipped by Anil's on the way back to discuss the respray, he's definitely knows his stuff! Also saw the red Zed with gold wheels at Jimmer's that Anil painted earlier this year and it is an amazing job.

......Which is why I haven't done anything to my Zed since Saturday.... When I packed it off to Jimmer's, to get the gearbox sorted.

Duane from DWM Transport arrived, as promised, on Saturday morning - great service, and a nice guy as well, no wonder Jim recommends Duane to all his customers!

Duane trailered mine to Jimmer's too as I would have struggled to get the car down to him that week otherwise. Nice guy, great service and fair price

Hi, have thought about it before but don't need the unwanted additional attention it may bring
