  • We did a video earlier this week, the Z hasn't been out the garage since July 2020. So happy for this, this is miles away from professional video, and the guy who helped me with the drone and editing,

Today nothing, but I did take the Zed out for a little drive the other day - and stopped for a couple of pics. Any excuse 😉

I’ve always thought these seemed like a bargain if you have a reasonable sized garage.
2 post would be a dream come true. I don't have the ceiling height for it unfortunately.

What did that cost you if you don’t mind me asking?

If you can't get the thing to unscrew then I have a spare manifold with the fitting removed.

cheers andrew may take you up on that, my nephews taking it to his engineering works tommorow he's gonna have a go at it

Nice looking UK spec there mate..... And I'm still loving those Antera alloys - another old school wheel that still looks great on a Zed....

The past few weeks I've been doing a lot of work on the interior of the LWB. Dash was removed, carpet changed for an immaculate one, alti sills wired up (nearly), heater ecu swapped out so I now have directional heat. I repaired my dash & refitted it along with a load of new or perfect condition parts. Just waiting on the new seats & dash panels now, hopefully won't be much longer as I can't wait to take her for a spin.

Finally got round to fitting the black strip above my rear lights tonight.

Thanks again to Andrew G who sent this over to me a few months ago... It dramatically changed my rear end!

Took delivery of these today. £27 with free delivery from Dublin (i had them dropped to her and she brought them over today).

I have a Momo steering wheel with red stitching to match the 99 spec gear knob and the wheel also has some small chrome inserts which will fit nicely with these handles. fbf1e07ab471d3d3671d7e57a18c701d.jpg

I should have put my sister brought them over from dublin....... apologies for a senior moment.

It’s a massive improvement. Now you’ve done yours it will annoy your eyes when see one not done.

Going to do a few more bits in the next couple of days as I'm hopefully going to a classic event up in the Lake District on Sunday.

Got the stickers to go on yet too!

Nice one mate - it always looks better with the black strip IMO.... It's just so "unfinished" when the whole spoiler remains body-coloured....

I bought the strip from MJP when I first got my blue Zed and it made the car look 100 times better. However I have lived with a small crease in it since then which has constantly annoyed me. So now the car is being resprayed, I have asked for the "strip" to be painted in gloss black - as opposed to the sticky strip. I may have copied a certain Funky person there - but I reckon the painted finish will age better.:clover:

I'm hoping for no creases, will have to have a look tomorrow as I only had a bit of time after work tonight and it had started to go a bit dark with the rain! Fingers crossed!
