Wired up my third brake light to also act as a fog for MOTs in preparation for the clear tail lights to replace the 3 pot lights currently on her

I remember seeing them. We're these the ones with the adapters as well? I paid £170 for mine with good tyres. Spacers cost me more.

No, they came with the bolts but not the adaptors, which would add another couple of hundred to the price.

I decided in the end to go for something a little bigger although the tyres are rubbing a bit at the moment

Just been out, Christ I'm glad I've got T Tops, no air con but T Tops took the edge off. The dash says its 28c and I'd agree, it's like Spain here today.

Same here, I still wanted air con even with the tops off! I hate not having it, makes driving it uncomfortable

Creature comforts are pretty low in mine. I don't regret binning the air con, freed up so much room in the bay, I never used it anyway. I'd kill for aircon in my daily though. Sat in traffic on a Friday fighting the tourists to get home it gets hot.

Just a little FYI, when it's tested make sure you don't allow the third brake light to show as a brake light then as a fog light after ok, this could potentially lead to a fail.

 

Also if you are using the third brake light as a fog light and it doesn't illuminate when the brakes are applied be careful your tester doesn't fail it for stop light not working ok, centre brake lights aren't a requirement but the presenter must inform the tester the lamp isn't wired for a brake light then the tester cannot fail it ok :thumbup1:
