• We did a video earlier this week, the Z hasn't been out the garage since July 2020. So happy for this, this is miles away from professional video, and the guy who helped me with the drone and editing,

Today nothing, but I did take the Zed out for a little drive the other day - and stopped for a couple of pics. Any excuse 😉

Heat gun, yeah. Borrow your Mum's hair drier if you don't have access. I'd take the centre panel out first as you wouldn't want to distort it.

No, it's a Vinyl sticker but it's been on for years and won't come off by hand. Heat gun will probably be the cleanest option imo

Heat guns can over heat in a nano second iff not used right and blister the paint..very hot water (not boiling) and pour over for 20 seconds or so then it will just pull off. To remove any glue residue i always used Zippo lighter fluid as it was not as harsh as other solvent based stuff including petrol.

Currently stuck revising on this gorgeous day. Wishing I could be Targa-Off Driving right now.. 25 degrees..

Stupidly didn't take any pictures, but I refitted the starter motor cover with the pain in the ass bolts, flushed the system and got new coolant in it, and got the remainder of the new brakes installed

Here's a nice pic anyway

Do you fancy swapping your exhausts for some skirts

Yeah I hate it, there is one on the side too aswell as some rubber debris from a rubber stripe round the side. What should I use? Petrol? Heat?

To get the stickers off just supple them up a bit with either a hair dryer or a heat gun and they should come off alot easier.

Certainly not, but I haven't forgotten...

Nice exhausts though :3

It is a fantastic sounding exhaust mate, I did try getting Martin to swap it with the one on my zed but no no avail.

Martin's a smart chap!

When are you getting your cars back on the road Tom?

I have been looking at body shops recently to get the UK one sorted, still not sure what I'm guna do with the rustless engineless silver zed yet.

Ah but you ARE going to remember to put the skirts aside when painting right???

If it helps I have painting equipment...

I'll try to remember, although they do look very nice on a black zed, they did on my last TT anyway

Peel the stickers with a hairdryer to heat them. Then use white spirit to remove the glue. Soft cloth and gentle rubbing.

Wash the area with hot soapy water afterwards to protect the lacquer.

I finished it yesterday, used hot water and t-cut the glue off. It was too dark to take pictures though

Here are some pictures of the brakes though. Brembo rotors and pads.
