  • We did a video earlier this week, the Z hasn't been out the garage since July 2020. So happy for this, this is miles away from professional video, and the guy who helped me with the drone and editing,

Today nothing, but I did take the Zed out for a little drive the other day - and stopped for a couple of pics. Any excuse 😉

Ha! I should have known you'd do the exhaust, that's why I mentioned it, it wouldn't be like you to miss an opportunity to keep Zeb all shiny:thumbup:

Nice one Ian....

Me, yesterday, I pulled it out of the garage for a little trip to see 3 old-timer-petrol-heads in action at the O2..... My mate asked if we could go out in it sometime, after seeing our stand at the NEC....

Today, I was planning on giving it a wash - but it's wet and gloomy. So I just hoovered and cleaned the interior whilst in the garage...... I'm taking it down to Bath for the Christmas market either next Sunday or the one after - so it'll only get dirty blatting down the M4 and back...:wink:

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Got the tail out in a very wet car park. Takes some doing with Potenza REs! Surprisingly grippy even in the wet

20151125_193321.jpg Picked up Purple Haze after a week or two with

Lee Dent and Sam at LA Autos. Major Service, WaxStone Chip underneath and Cambelt. However, as usual, Lee did a ton of other stuff and threw in some bling! I cannot rate Lee,s work high enough, as a newbie I am so impressed with his knowledge, passion and love for the 300zx. Great that this forum recommend Lee, I'm really pleased with L.A. Autos and have enjoyed the drive back today with confidence in my car and a smile on my face, cheers Lee :-)

I've put halos in front of the projector housing before on the 89 headlight inserts but i'm in the middle of doing some a little different, the ultimate goal is making them as NOT aftermarket looking as is possible slash stealth like .

All going well so far and when these are 'hidden' under the glass they will.........not should..........look sweet.

Thanks Man, took her fir a real good drive yesterday round the country lanes and she was filthy, gave her a good clean and put her away in her blanket till the sun comes out again. My first real day driving her for pure pleasure and it made my birthday buddy, God I love my Zed :-)

Still waiting for that phonecall Chris!? I was around on your drive out day too, shame!

Anyways, maybe next time huh?

Ive been eagerly waiting to fit the afterburner light panels to the rear of my Z since I received them about 2 months ago now. However after close inspection I found that all 6 of the centre light pots were broken at the tabs that secure them and there's some cracking in the led rings on a couple so I've found it was probably cheaper to buy new ones. I swapped some upgrade parts for the panels that were worth about £260 and now just had to spend over a hundred to replace the bulbs as they were incorrect fitment and also the centre pots!

Still, they're all cleaned up now, new parts on route from hella and once they arrive later this week, they'll be fitted at the weekend if the weather permits..

It's been educational! I think I'll go for new parts next time though!

Got plans for the new year. Nistune ecu and boost controller, decats and rear oil seal.. Possible clutch upgrade and maybe some new turbos depending on the condition of mine when inspected.. Still got all the underbonnet stuff to fit too, gold plenum, body colour rocker covers and balance tube, turbo hardpipes, silicone hoses, new radiator and series 2 ptu and new coilpacks...

I have a feeling that someone's going to be busy in January!

Well my Brembo calliper seals turned up this morning, I'm working all weekend so I might give it a go sometime next week:thumbup1:

Shouldn't be too difficult :scared:
