  • We did a video earlier this week, the Z hasn't been out the garage since July 2020. So happy for this, this is miles away from professional video, and the guy who helped me with the drone and editing,

Today nothing, but I did take the Zed out for a little drive the other day - and stopped for a couple of pics. Any excuse 😉

If you want it bad enough, you'll get there! I totally agree, the only city I've lived in was Southampton when I was at Uni, but that was by the coast. I lived there for a year after uni too and whilst I like Southampton as a city, I couldn't stand living there and that was purely down to city life. Despite my loud mouth, I love the peace and tranquility of the countryside. :)

i go walking in the sticks often in wales. like being in the middle of no were with no one around

Same! I go to the Arizona desert for that very reason! Wales is ace too half the amount of traffic too if you're there for a drive. :)

thinking i need to stop spending money on cars and keep away from girls

Why do you think I go fishing? Some of the places I go I won't see another soul for the whole day. There is honestly nothing more wonderful than to be outside in the wilds. Wether that's up to your eyes in stinging nettles stalking fish in clear water or walking the dog through expansive pine forests and heathland. I hate the city, I don't feel at home there. Even the Bournemouth town is too much for me to be comfortable. Who wouldn't want to spend a day here;

I took that about 6.30am a few weeks back, the mist lifting off the Dorset stour waiting for the day of surprises to arrive.

Si, I didn't realise you were the tree hugging Glastonbury type! I grew up near Evercreech and went to Strode College, fantastic part of Somersetshire, I love it, especially Wilkins Cider out on the moor ;)

My fingers on the button:rofl::rofl:...thought ide landed into a "lifestyle section".

Omg.. I was thinking the same.. My phones going off all day and I'm thinking you guys are all busy tinkering with zeds.

I guess I can relax now, cos I've not done much other than wash the car and have enjoyable drive..

I believe a new thread for the lifestyle choices may be needed..

Got myself some lightweight nuts, all anodized and includes 4 x locking plus key of course.

Is it just me that had the child in me and chuckled a little when I read this?

I'm not a tree hugger, that's for sure!

I nearly went to Strode College. I love Somerset, the pace of life is perfect, everyone's friendly and there's lots of wide open spaces and empty roads - it was an awesome place to grow up in as a kid.

Probably kids, they used to collect them for some reason. Might get the Nismo ones that lock, I think they look better anyway.

Yup - the light fingered little b@stards nick them for their bikes........

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

well nothing on the zed today, i did however fit my refurbed headlights yesterday, and as a base broke on one of the hid's i had to order a new pair of 4300k lamps to go in, today however i bit the bullet and pulled out my polished plenum, and noticed it starting to loose it's shine, so i took it to the powder coaters along with the spare front water pipes i have in the garage, i was looking at a sparkle silver or shadow chrome which they don't stock. i had a choice of several other colours though, including samco blue, i however decided on gloss black which i think should look ok.

I actually drove mine to the end of my close and parked her up..... Engine started like a bucket of bolts with loads of missing for about 20 seconds.... then went back to quiet....

Well the auto box seems fine when cold and sat unused for a while!

Had to move her off the driveway as tree climbing, chainsaw wielding, fella's due here to cut down our oversized tree tomorrow..... so needed to move her rather than get her damaged by branches being dragged past.....

I want her back on the road soooooo much now......
