  • We did a video earlier this week, the Z hasn't been out the garage since July 2020. So happy for this, this is miles away from professional video, and the guy who helped me with the drone and editing,

Today nothing, but I did take the Zed out for a little drive the other day - and stopped for a couple of pics. Any excuse 😉

Agreed - on both counts...! Nice work Ian...

I hate the square front plates too...

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Spent the past couple of days doing the following:

-Replacing door lock cams with metal versions

-Fitted space connectors to front speaker wiring, as the wires were just twist fitted - wondered why the left speaker was working intermittently when it was last on the road....

-Removed turbo timer

-Fitted uprated rear hatch struts

-Refitted stereo and ran 3.5mm aux cable to the arm rest storage (Alpine stereo with the rear aux connector)

-Connected Nistune and checked basic connectivity with Consult cable & Nistune software ready for base tuning, rolling road session booked for 30th September

I can't spell

I managed to get my car, nostrils, looking fairly nice for the jae.

Although I couldn't stay more than the Friday, I managed to get a nice photo of the Z as I was arriving.

Here's how nostrils looked on the day... attachment.php?attachmentid=90540&d=1442106615

That looks...erm....'different' (to put it politely).

Today I am mostly starting my racecar build.

Go on..... More details Ian!

All will be revealed soon enough

I'll grill you on the way to Lee's on Saturday!

Yes it looks different, why would I want one the same as everyone else's?

Got these today, look a great bit of kit. & $16 postage wasn't bad.

I have these. If you are ditching your solid bushings/adjustables, these are heaven! Best thing I did was get rid of ALL my solid bushings! Hateful things! :)

Having this fitted today! Been wanting this done today, been meaning to get this done for eons!!

Fitted new OEM spark plugs, not that it really needed them. Now I need new coil pack connectors  Can they be bought without the loom?

Good piece of kit Si :thumbup1:

Just driven back from Jim's, DAMN, it feels smooth! I think I need my front wheels rebalancing, but the smoothness is really noticeable. The car sounds different too as the resonance is different. Certainly a worthwhile upgrade!

Drove down with Coopd today and picked the white zed up from Lee Dent's place today got to say I thought it wasn't bad before but lee found an ECU problem I wasn't aware of so replaced it and put a better chip in so now it's running and boosting even better. New exhaust gaskets both sides and fitted my 99 spec bumper . Sam installed the injector connectors I got from Joelyp . Also fitted a low mileage gearbox I bought last year so she's now smooth as silk in the gears too. I'm a happy boy so big thanks to Lee and Sam for all your hard work you boys rock.

Thanks Dave for the lift down hope you enjoyed the ride home.

Where did you get them from? And how much were they?
