  • We did a video earlier this week, the Z hasn't been out the garage since July 2020. So happy for this, this is miles away from professional video, and the guy who helped me with the drone and editing,

Today nothing, but I did take the Zed out for a little drive the other day - and stopped for a couple of pics. Any excuse 😉

I got a really good price, Thank you MARK DERBY AT AUTOMODZ :thumbup1::clap::thumbup:

I was a bit worried about the XTD but I've read and re read everything I could find on here and most of the reviews are good. And as its not far of an F1 clutch they were popular too.

I am sure I can handle the gabbiness just hope it doesn't make too many stupid noises

now enter XOTB!

Started the rebuild of my washer bottle after several hours cleaning.

Not to shabby if I do say so myself.

Hope to get it fitted tomorrow.

Yeah great work Dave! I'll post mine to you :tt2:

Mines all painted, just the laborious process of flatting and polishing left... But it's looking loads better!

Cheers Si.

Cheers Baz, any pictures?

P.S.

I took on board about what you said by the way Baz and changed those grotty bolts.

lol!!! Don't know yet :tt2:

washed it twice!! then tried to fix the drivers lock quadrant (failed) then had to brake into it after locking the keys inside the car! dove it home on wet, shitty roads so it is all stinking again!!

Just done mine..not too bad getting out, refitting which was the pain. Managed in the end though, feels really solid.

Temporarily removed my bottle so thought with it being all the rage at the moment I'd give it a clean, should of done before and after but there was a brownish skin on the inside, I threw inside some old alloy wheel clean 'acid' and some wonder wheels, then some bolts, nuts, etc as this scratches it clean as you shake, then a finishing touch of red on the levels.

Not that the level can be seen, what Nissan should of done is put a lift up flap in the arch liner, putting the wheel at full lock would enable this to be accessed .

Put some tax on her today and took her for a run to blow the spiders out the exhaust and clean the brake disc's up. No contact between the tires and wheel arches so I'm happy about that.

That's what the dipstick is for! :)

LOL - agreed....

Far easier than putting the wheels on full lock and opening a flap!!! Plus if you have the right concentration of antifreeze, the coolant will show up more prominently on said dipstick!!

Nice wok on cleaning the tank though Andy....

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

a good will gesture :lol::lol:

I never have any water in mine, think it just evaporates

Replaced my faded rear decals with the nice shiny ones I got off Phutumsch - much better

Wrapped the rear bumper. Hardest part to wrap so far. Took 4 hours. Just going to bed now as I'm in work at 8.....
