Re-trimmed the top part of the rear interior panels, dropped the headlining so I can remove the centre targa bar and wrap the roof, finished the repair panel ready for welding tomorrow and painted it with zinc primer....

Oh and drew a diagram of throttle spring covers after talking to funkysi about them......

Pics of rear panels I just finished putting back together....2013-08-26-282.jpg

Watching my Z disintegrate on my driveway!!!

Removed the LH section of my Mongoose exhaust' date=' modified the hanger brackets ( it was hitting the rear bumper crossmember since the Japspeed decats were fitted)[/quote']

I had that same issue, if you look at the pipes from above the LH side pipes sit noticeably further back than the RH side. The japspeed decat pipes must all be slightly longer on that side.

not done anything today but over the last several months done loads!! car should be back from the garage in a week and ill get the last bits back on and post a load of pics and details up!

Having seen another members shiny steering wheel the other day and as my SRS one was a little dull as previously I stripped mine back because of worn areas, I had gotten a bit fed up in using black shoe polish to try and bring it back to life but to no avail - I thought what have I to lose and so I black glossed it with several coats of lacquer and this as brought it up very very well and I is well pleased with this job .

Wow looks great Andy. Was after swapping mine, only cos the leather is a bit tatty around the edge in parts and feels crap when ur driving. Might have a go at that myself when I'm clear of other domestic related projects...

Today, in between building interiors, I took delivery of a full set of OEM corner spats in rather good condition! :thumbup1:

Replaced my clear front indicators with the series two units with the orange reflector removed plus with the JDM units I now have kerb lights:biggrin:

Pics please Gary.......:hyper:

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:
