  • We did a video earlier this week, the Z hasn't been out the garage since July 2020. So happy for this, this is miles away from professional video, and the guy who helped me with the drone and editing,

Today nothing, but I did take the Zed out for a little drive the other day - and stopped for a couple of pics. Any excuse 😉

spend the day sorting out the rear number plate lights... bulb holders totally gone (rusted) made some new ones up and will have to fit them tomorrow..

I noticed mine was a bit rusty a while back so I bought two for spares but I've done away with them now as I've fit a remote RGB strip light and smothered it in clear silicone to keep the elements at bay, I find red or green illuminates the number plate lovverleee :cool3:.

Took the viscous fan off, gave it a damn good wash with a brillo back to milky white, primed and then sexy silvered up, just need a few coats of lacquer tomorrow and then re fit :thumbup1:.

Why though 7 fins - a group of 3 and a group of 4, clearly not equally spaced :confused1:.

Sorry...

LOL! yup!

its been a long term relationship but time to move on!

I dont use it too much anymore & likely to get a company car in a year or so

i fitted a new a dual intake to the NA, and got the old headers off, will put the stainless ones on tomorrow.

found loads of rusty/ broken brackets too, wonder if they were contributing to the rattle ... ...

its an NA so no holes in the bumper where the filters are, with the bumper back on i cant see it being a problem, i've refitted the splas guards, but will keep an eye on them,

means i've shortened the intake length a fair bit though

Stripped out interior and started to fit flocked red interior I got off Anthonyd. Polished my new Team Dynamics 19" alloys ready to fit.$T2eC16R,!ysE9sy0iIOUBRiV+Qq,PQ~~60_58.JPG Wheels pics before polishing. Also fitted clocks I got back from Graham (groover) with nice blue LED's, although it was so sunny you can't see them.

Hi Ian,

Retrimed my door cards so the interior is now all done. Just gotta fit the arm rest and will refit the cards tomorrow. Then gonna put her on the ramps and work out how to fit a speed sensor.

ah right, worth the wait though hey?

The material is alcantara. Got it on eBay along with a tin of upholstery adhesive. Really strong stuff so its not gona lift in the heat.

This is what the rest looks like....

Did it ages ago but never had time to do the door cards. Gona do some panels again but really pleased with how it looks for now. You'll have to put some pics of yours up with the seats back in Ian. Red interiors must be the fashion at the moment.
