I know some people at a previous meet were asking how to remove these mouldings, so this is how to remove them whilst dismantling as little as possible. Here is the location of the 5 screws needed to remove. The centre three bolts are covered by the plastic trim: Two of them have a conveniently placed hump: And the last one you have to drill in the general area, half way in the gap: The screws have a washer with diameter 1cm so a hole bigger than that would be best, you probably don't want to drop then in the cavity as you will have a rattle forever more... That should give you access to all the screws for the weatherstrip clip :) …

Hey guys, I have found some power steering fluid leaking from the bottom of the power steering solenoid. Will it be worth replacing a simple gasket? Or do I need a new unit? Thank you Matt

If you've been following some other thread of mine, you'll know i've got a misfire , its the middle plug on the drivers side. i've whipped the plug out and the piccy is below, is there anything i can gather from the state of the plug which might lead me to the reason for the misfire. Also the other piccy shows a pipe was disconnected i've no idea what this does so any tell me what would happen if it not connected. Thanks

Having timing issues with my car. Not a huge electrical genius so be gentle please! The timing is set to 15 btdc after I rebuilt the engine a couple months ago when i start it, It can't hold it's idle and dies if i leave it, but if you hold the throttle open and steady it's revs it runs fine, but the timing is jumping all over the place Now when i crank to start it runs 15 fine, but once started and still warm the timing goes completely erratic, going to 40-50 to maybe 20ish but never settles back to 15. Is this a CAS issue? Has a speciality Z chip so can't imagine that's at fault. Or maybe something else to blame?

Hi Guys, The cars been going okay since i changed the part at the end of the wiring loom in front of the fan, cant remember its name for the life of me. But now its started to misfire again, i'm slowly going up the wall, One thing that i changed on my merc when it misfired was the Air flow sensor, Something i've not thought of changing in the Zed. Anyone got one or can recommend a place, cars a series 1 '90 N/A Auto. Shouldn't have got rid of my spare one... Rich

After fiddling around with exhausts for quite a while I have decided that I'll be replacing my cat back. For my rolling road tune I was running a hks centre section with 2.5" piping and some universal 2.5" back boxes. The power seemed ok but they were still holding the car back and also droned significantly between 2-3k. I then updated my apexi system to use the new hks centre and full 2.5" piping. The sound was great if not a little too quiet but they are too restrictive for the tune I have now so they have to go. What I want in a new exhaust: 3" performance system No drone Quad tips- square oval if possible What I've looked at. An ab flag p…

Its been posted before and well discussed but..... Wow I do think its a great buy. A UK Z32 auto 300zx, two owners, 34,000 miles and in great condition. Might need a few changes to bring it back to oem but all easy jobs. What would you pay to own what could be the best UK Z in the UK? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NISSAN-300ZX-TWIN-TURBO-AUTO-GENUINE-UK-JUST-34-000-MILES-1-OWNER-STUNNER-/272786111050?hash=item3f8351ba4a:g:Mj4AAOSwjDZYluvN

I currently have a set of 19" TSW Multi spoke wheels on my 1991 TT LWB and I am considering changing them for a more dished style....I am also thinking of perhaps a more retro style ....and drawn to something like those fitted to Gaz 300's fantastic Red shortie..... I am thinking of dropping back to 18" both for the ride improvement and the current occasional fouling I get with the 19's ...(although that is probably more to do with the size of hub centric spacers I have!) Anyhow...Ali has photo shopped them onto my car in both 19" and 18" format below... CURRENT RS MESH 19" RS MESH 18" Comments please ....(be gentle FunkyS…
