Got my T.C delivered today. In the supplement for the Z it says all wiring instructions are for UK spec Z, check if different. Is the loom/ECU/ABS wiring the same on my '91 import? I'm going to try fitting it next week sometime. Can I call one of you guys who have installed it before if I get stuck? Ta in advance!

Is there an actual system of mod's for the Z! A lot of talk is about the more exiting goodies, but is there a path of don't fit one of those, untill you've got one of these, or you'll bugger the other bit! I've read posts from flywheels to chips to fartometers! (I have one, its her side of the duvet!) For a stock Z either uk/import, and the cars running ok - what do you look to buy first and what hp gains are to be had by adding each component. I have had one break-in and someone was snooping round my car again last night at 3:30am. I'm getting VERY worried now. I have an AutoWatch CAT1 alarm (not sure of the model without digging the paperwork out) What are my options for scaring/catching them BEFORE they do the damage? It's already cost me nearly £200.00 for a new lock/handle assembly and fitting. I have seen those cheezy alarms that sound like Robocop and tell you to step away from the car. Is there anything similar that will interface to my existing alarm? I got a pager from Bob but not fitted it yet and could do with something to set it off before the idiots shag the locks only to find its alarm…

This is a nightmare - I need insurance - just got back from Honeymoon to find Admiral have cancelled my policy - gits, and now I'm having a real struggle to get my import insured.....No-one wants to touch it or want about £2500 which is stupid. Apparently things went pear shaped due to some Impreza's having their wheels fall off (Adrian Flux) swines. I'm still having fun in my TT90 manual (only had a week) but I have a question. When the boost drops off I get a noticable vibration/buzz from the back. I was told that it was a suck back in the exhaust(Scorpion) from the turbo when it stops spinning. Is this correct?

Hi all, I am looking for a new car at around £10,000 and was thinking of an early Toyota Supra Turbo (new shape) when I noticed a lot of interest in 300ZXs. Can you tell me what sort of car I would get for £9-10k and what problems they tend to have (i.e. cambelt, four wheel steering, turbos etc.), running costs, servicing schedules and the like. Also if there are any specialist dealers in the Midlands that sell/service these cars, that would be really useful. Thanks, Dominic

Hi further to a previous post anyone got any ideas about my Jap import TT the power cuts at 125mph not violently or anything real softly like a controled ignition cut.The boost remains at max (stock) but 125mph is the max speed, releasing the go pedal and dropping 5 mph restores full power till 125mph and cut again.I know Japs are restricted (had one before although that had a Veilside chip and loads of go power 160mph+) but thought standard limit was 112 mph? is it poss it is de-limited but not very well also any contacts on a chip ? Or as a short term cure can get a UK spec ecu any thoughts? Help its driving me mad Jeff TT

Is there anybody else interested in a Strosek style rear bumper for a standard width 2-seater? I don't want to increase the width of my imported TT 2-seater (SWB) car.

The top of the my fan shroud in pretty naked. half of it is missing and the other is cracked. obviously some sap has lent on it before and the fan has chewed it up. I know Paul baily Designs do one for around £80, but does anyone know ehere I can get hold of a pice of carbon fibr to make my own. Should be pretty straight forward me thinks, just pop rivet it to the originbal. Glenn
