I've been following the aircon threads... just want to confirm what's wrong with mine.. It's not been blowing cold for a while now, but yesterday it started making a weird whining/rubbing noise...switch aircon off and it goes away. So has my clutch on the compressor gone ? Or have I ran out of gas/liquid, and this is causing the weird noises ? Do you reckon it might go away/start working of I get it recharged ? stu (having to drive with roof off at the moment... what a bind :-) )

SRRAE said in another post that he never gets a race now he's got a Z and I am just the same. Nobody ever wants a race, I suppose because they know they'll get wupped. Think I've only had one race in the last year. Another thing I've noticed is that you can drive like an absolute dick head and nobody even bothers to flash or honk at you. Must be expected of Z'ers! It's getting very boring!

Hello,, Does anyone now the likely cost of a new door and the back wing before the back wheel arch??.. The reason for asking is that I managed to catch a wooden post near my drive (not clever driving) which scrapped along the bottom of the door (about half a foot) and then onto the section before the back wheel arch (again about half a foot). I think the skirt under the door might also be damaged. Any information would help, so I can prepare myself for the costs....

Just 3 hours to bid. I contacted the seller and he assures me that these will fit a 300zx. Not sure I believe him though because there are no hangers and no pipe sticking out the back. I'd guess that it's a cut'n'shut jobbie .... Any comments ? Hey chapZ, For info. purposes, my Brother bought a Renault GTA-V6 Alpine from a well respected car dealer in Altrincham, some know who I am on about. Anyway, he paid over the odds for it, got completely duped with the sales pitch and as a result the car is shagged and has been the centre of a legal battle between my boy and the twats in Altrincham for the past 18 months. I have given statements for his solicitor, his wife has given statements about how they nearly killed him and his pregnant Mrs. on the A55 into Wales after they accidently fitted a throttle part round the wrong way!!! This resulted in him having the throttle jam at 100+ mph and still caining it …

Hi again guyz, its Glen here again, your trusty buyer of naff zeds. I've been offered a 90TT Auto Jap with 56k on the clock for £4000. 17 Inch Splits (needs new tyres). No Leather. Just looked at a nice Zed with a view to purchase. Front L/H shocker mount has some corrosion , not through, but enough worry me. Is this aexpensive to have welded, or more complicated than it seems?

Hi, I'm going to give a basic service this week Oil,plugs,filters . Can anybody recomemned non standard (Nissan)Air filter and plugs as i've been told you can increse the bhp by SOME with just changing them ?. I am not even going to consider a messing around with the ecu/chip as they are quick enough in my view but seeing i'm going to change the filter and plugs why not go for somthing a little better :-). Any advice THANKS , Darren

Aghhhh! I heard a clunk and felt it by my feet when I turn right sharply over 3/4 lock. It has only just started doing it. It does not do it when turn right normaly even full lock or even when I turn left sharply. Help!! What can it be. Stuart.

Dear Diary, Today I went to put my Merc into main dealer to have his sunroof fixed. Then went to get insurance and tax for the womans Range Rover! She then decided to wash her vehicle at Tesco jet wash in Bangor. This was not so bad...LOL! As it must have been the first time in 6 months that she has wanted to wash her motor. Tip! When the buzzer goes for the initial shampoo wash, and then you have to use the brush, if you have someone else with you the lance still works while they are using the brush...ten dollar! Anyway, missing the point here, whilst sitting waiting for the jetwash, in rolls mr 300ZX TT with his mate in the car and T-bar roofs off...BASTA…

When I come on to the forum and leave a few messages they dont show up on the list. I can also there are more relpies have been left on a topic than I can see. If a topic says it has 2 replies, I load it up and there are 2 replies. I come back later it says there are 6 replies click on the topic and I can only see 2 maybe 3. I am having 2 now front tyres put on, on Monday. Lovely Brigdestone £230 for both. I all ready have the left and right alloy on opposite sites from the front and back (Did that make sence?) Any way! The left and right alloy, Does the left alloy go on the left side when you look at the car from the front or the left side when you are sitting in the car. Sorry about by bad spelling I'm dyslexic and I got a free PC out of it He He He.
