After my recent Gatso misfortune Ive been reading about Radar detectors/Jammers and that GPS system. It seems that Bel and Snooper are the popular ones, but they all claim to outperform the others. Idealy having all 3 gadgets is the best solution but that would cost over a grand. I know some of you use this stuff so what do you recomend? Paul..

The Down Low On The R35 Skyline GTR Ryan Stevens of Velocity has recently given us the down low on Nissan's next GTR: the R35. According to him Nissan has dropped in a hybrid version of the 300ZX's VG30DETT that will use a single "monster" turbo setup along with a massive front mount intercooler. The combination will add up to a power output of 400HP. Due to a Japanese law that limits the maximum output of highpowerd cars to 280HP, Nissan is going to bottle up the exta 120 horses by way of computer, intake and exhaust. The good news is that when these three parts are replaced the power will be bumped back up to 400HP. Body-wise it will look similar to the R34, but wi…

Check out picture in my rides section guys. Special offer on a new FULL COMPLETE A- pillar trim, with pre moulded in gauge pods, these can be in anysize, 1 pod or 2 or 3 and are the dogs nuts, for the grand total of £65.00 + postage. Simple to fit, you keep your existing 1 incase you sell ya mota but wanna keep gauges, the whole thing makes itlook like a standard piece of trim, looks far better than any Greddy screw on pod cup and actually be cheaper if you go for a double cup, let me know guys, Smithy p.s picture is not from a Zed.

After my 007-style smokescreen as I was leaving Billing, I thought I'd get Ian at Hiteq to check my blowers for me. As suspected, the dreaded rear seals are worn- its time for some new turbos. Ah well the old saying "if it's broke- mod it!" will have to apply. Will have to get me hands on some nice hybrids- can anyone lend me a couple of grand, pleeeeeeease? Dave

Brass Band playin': Yiiiiaaahhhhhhhhhaaaaaa Finally, got through the nastey Corvette section on the mini round-a-bouts in the wet(have to be honest here, Mrs. did it!) and now she is cruising! How's everyone else getting on? Have bought me Z, found that the oval test track on the TURBO comp. in the beginner section is a full on money earner. Just sit there all night whooping the competition and earning 5000 Cr. for doing arse all! RESULT or what? Apart from the fact that my Oil warning light came on....how realistic is this game! Changed oil and now is fine! LMFAO! Got about 40K together and started thinking about buying something else...but when you look a…

Hi folks, After putting on my new greenstuff (easy job for anyone wondering) i noticed both front tyres are worn on the inner most part of the tyre. The rest of the tread is ok, like new in fact so i figure i have a problem. Would you tyre experts recommend me a course of action so it doesnt happen on the new tyres i will be putting on. BTW they are Falken 235/40Z18's Ta mateyz ------------------ -- Glen

Just to remind everyone that I'm now going to let my twin turbo engine go for £1000. I'd like to sell it quite quickly because its the only immovable object left in my garage (which is stopping me getting a car in). Its basically a sound engine. The turbos and ancilliaries have already been taken off. Thanks Andy (01634 221783 or geewhizz@onetel.net.uk)

Big thanks go to AndyP for showing me what a good example of an Auto TT goes like And for letting me drive it (brave man!) Next.. Does anyone live around my area - Slough/Maidenhead.. There's that TT I'm pondering ('ok' exterior (one dent), bad interior, but only 29k on the clock (if that's real mileage)) getting, and I'd really like a more experienced eye than my own to guide me on this decision Beers/money/sexual favours (but not if you're male ) in it for any volunteer.. OK, I'm trying to work out if buying a slightly worn (lol..) Zed is gonna be cost effective or not.. Basically, I'll need; Dash - upper area Front seats, or if the seats I'm buying aren't leather, then both front & rear seats Possibly a targa roof (drivers side), in black if poss. OK - anyone have those parts/want to shoot me a price? That way I can work out if this Zed works out cheap, about right, or expensive (and therefore not worth saving..) Cheers ------------------ Az

Seeking advice from anyone in the know on this subject!! I own a N/A 300ZX from the Japan... which comes with 7x16 alloys (same style as the UK twin Turbo alloys) but obviously lacking the additional inch in width. I have been offered a set of 8x16 UK alloys which I am very tempted by, but I just wanted to check does anyone know of any issues caused by changing these wheels over from the standard Jap to UK wheels...like fitment problems etc. I would be very grateful to anyone who can let me know if they know of any problems or (hopefully) it's just a straight swap. Cheers all Kindest Regards Nu

Anyway, me and the Mrs. were driving along this after...and I said to her..."what if that guy in the BURGUNDY MONDEO just sat there all day and was a bad COP and just starting writing peoples Regs' down???" Sorry, scenario is this...guy in unmarked Burgundy Mondeo has been around for months round our way with Laser gun! But what if he clocked you or didn't clock you! What if he just saw you coming and thought "yeah, I'll have them!" Take it to court, you've not got any solid evidence that you were NOT breaking the speed limit! He certainly has NOT got a…

Right, firstly I think that Warren is top of the list...LOL! Being that he needs another back box to match his rediculously LARGE one sided event! ...we've(Matty, me, Ajay and Glen----co-conspirators!!!) decided that the best method behind the madness that is CannonBall....is to list about ten charities or so! Then all money raised by individuals/clubs/forums/registers will be split equally amongst the named charities. I personally would like to obviously see the main ones up on the list like MS, Cancer, AIDS etc. but do spare a thought for the HHHaaaannnnimmmals aswell. Battersea, Redwings or whatever, just a couple would be nice! Face it, this is gonna happen …
