Last week i picked up my new z from the kent area,i live in Derby so i had to travel all the way down to the isle of sheppy.Well after i picked it up i was driving my new red z and got lost and ended up on the M25 in heavy traffic stuck for an hour,but felt good with every one admiring the z until the car died after 10 minuets the car would not start and i was vwery angery with the guy who sold it to me,anyway a woman eventualy pulled up next to me(remember trafic was at a standstill any way)she asked if i was ok and if i needed to use her phone i said i would and she hoped from her car to give me the phone,when she handed me the phone she looked in the car and said "take…

Was going to take my tt to santa pod today and race it but my front brakes have just run out yesterday. Thinking about getting tarox 40 grooved discs. But recently heard that tarox brakes are not too good and tend to warp.Anyone heard this. Are there any other maker that do 40 grooved.

hi i am a new owner of a 92 2+2Z,after selling my calebra,i seem to be the only one in the area am i? if there is any one else who wants to chat or meet about Zs contact me,I am not new to the consept of twin turbos becourse i have a 5.4 ltr twin turbo TR8 roadster which also runs on Methonal which i have built and was featured in March Street Machine 2001,so as you might have gathered i am also a spanner monkey but the Z is compleatly new to me,so if your out there.............

I have seen 2 new Z's in Wigan and I am wondering if they are here. I saw a black on driving round with a personal numberplate and a red H reg with a nice body kit parked on some ones drive. Any one here Stuart

When my car is ideling or driving for that matter, on the passenger side of the car i now have a funny type of humming noise anyone have an idea? Had car boosting tonight to 13 psi, and all i can say is wow, when my car gets to around 6000rpm it pulls to 7300rpm like a macine posessed.. kust thaught id tell anyone remotly interested ------------------

Cruise Control Limiter Three questions - OK Oh wise ones... Which wire do I cut to remove the silly Cruise Control limiter on my JAP TT? Ola, me again! After yesterday's torrential downpours I noticed something very annoying on my Zed. First of all part of the driver's seat was wet where water had leaked through the top of the side window and the rubber door seal. The other was that when I opened the rear hatch, half the North Sea came pouring down from the inside of the hatch! As far as I can see, water collects at the bottom corners of the glass and usually stays there until it either evaporates or gets moved on by the wind. I guess that I must have a leak between the seal and the metal of the rear hatch. Anyone experienced this before and is their a quick fix solution? Don't fancy replacing the se…

Morning y'all! I'm about to buy a nice Alpine ICE kit: CD/Tuner, Component speakers for the front doors, 1" tweeters to be placed over the door airvents, 10" subwoofer and an Amp. I have a couple of questions for all you audiophiles... 1. Will I need a separate battery to power the system - I imagine that the standart Z32 battery is already at capacity. If so, where would be the best place to put this extra battery? And will the stock altenator be able to carry the extra load? 2. Went to power down the passenger window this morning and it gets stuck halfway after making a clunkee noise ... Odd I thinks, went to push it down 'manually' anf the bloody things slips straight to the bottom of the door frame !!! Seeing our MD this morning otherwise I would have taken the door trim off to investigate, so had the heater on at 30c LOL. The motor still works,and starts and stops at the end of its travel, so I guess the glass has just detacched from the frame. OR.... it it somthing more expensive .... Glenn

I got an Oil change today, the car, felt a bit odd, but I didn't really notice till about 4 hrs later. The turbos were working early this morning, (went to the bank to cash a check, -I haven't driven my car in about 3 or 4 weeks. The first thing I said to myself is that I love the way the turbos sound. Unless I was just hearing things.-) - hits that I believe that there were working properly b4 I got the oil change. According to the ECU test. I'm getting a code 34 (Detonation Sensor), what I'm wondering is, even in safty boost, I should still get some boost right? Well I get 0- per gauge. Looking at the recent post re removing cats, I think my UK 92 tt (Jan 92) could 'reasonably legally' have a straight thru exhaust. I'm not so bothered about the legality, more concerned (as previous posts) about the turbos, ie rear oil seals smoke etc... My Zed has 90k miles, although the turbos were reconed at around 50k according to some paperwork i had with the car. It also had a 'short motor' fitted and the previous owners warranty company stumped up £5,000 for the work! Christs knows what happened, but it runs fine.
