I can't seem to work out why my cars a bleeper! Its a '90 TT Jap Import 2+0, Whenever the car comes to a near standstill, it beeps once softly (quite similar to the lights on warning beep). It doesnt matter if I am in drive, or neutral, or whether I am braking or coasting to a standstill, at about 3mph I get the single beep. Nissan who just serviced it (and kindly removed £700 from my bank account) looked at me daftly and told me that as it was an import, no-one could tell them what it meant. Does anyone else have this dammed annoying beep? And if so, how did you stop it???

Oh man, its only a matter of time before the whole damn thing is ripped out uncerimoniously by some twatty county hall inspired arse carbuncle road bump shit. Cracked the thing today, just a small crack (oooerr ) but goddam it it sits an inch off the ground. I cant cope with the paranoia (see previous post vis Class A's ). Is there a set of front shocks I can get that will raise the car an inch or two at the push of a button (yeah right! we all know the Knight Industries Two Thousand was real ) I have seen da Gangsta homiez doing it in America, so they can cruise Compton and South Central. Hi Danny Had a thought after our meeting about your water loss /overheating. I noticed when we were talking and you switched off the WARM engine the cooling fan kept spinning for a fair while. Now I remember the same on a friends car a sierra I think the viscous fan was stuffed and was not providing cooling at low speeds and hence water loss via the rad cap expansion.Might be the same worth checking your fan when the engine is hot the fan should be relatively hard to turn by hand and like wise easy when cold. Oh by the way there is a couple of centre console lids available in a breaker 2 miles from you in the right colour and good condition. Can mail you details if u wa…

When you fit a HKS ALC is it just the module that plugs into the control unit next to the ecu or is there any mechanical parts/mods to do as well? Paul

After all the Z post recently, time for a change:-)) Now posted in my rides section are pic's of my 3 yr old white boxer "jazmin". I think you'll agree she's a star, but wot about you boys and girls, wot ya got!!!!!!! Jazmin's best moment was when the vicar came to sort my brothers funeral she decided to head-butt him, now that was funny, with the vicar lay prone on the floor and my dog trying to pull his leg off! LMAO Oh well back too work to feed the hungry. BTW if any of you want a brochure for the hotel I work at just ask I'll be happy to send one out to you, it's a perfect retreat for weekends away etc. it's quite expensive and very good quality but …

OK, just ran a tranny (auto) diag as per got rice?'s instructions on TTnet.. The diag came back with codes 1 & 2 - that is; 1. Revolution sensor is shorted or disconnected and 2. Speed sensor circuit is shorted or disconnected My question is - is the revolution sensor the same beast as the crank angle sensor? And I'm guessing the speed sensor circuit would explain the odd steering behavior (sometimes light, sometimes heavy etc) - but.. Where is the speed sensor? Somewhere hard to get to I'll bet ECU diag came up 55 BTW... Sigh, knew I shoulda done a tranny diag too originally..

Can anyone explain the benefit of "Learning curve, fuzzy logic, blah blah blah" that you get with the super dooper boost controllers that some of you have. Is 15psi not going to be exactly the same whether you use boost jets or a fancy controller. I need a good technical reason so I can justify it when the other half discovers I have blown some more money on gadgets for the Z Paul

Since there seem to be a lot of people backing out of track time at Trax, I was wondering if any of you had a spare helmet that you could lend me. I've still not managed to get one sorted and it's drawing very close. If I don't get one sorted by next weekend, I'll have to buy one Cheers, Andy
