OK, just ran a tranny (auto) diag as per got rice?'s instructions on TTnet.. The diag came back with codes 1 & 2 - that is; 1. Revolution sensor is shorted or disconnected and 2. Speed sensor circuit is shorted or disconnected My question is - is the revolution sensor the same beast as the crank angle sensor? And I'm guessing the speed sensor circuit would explain the odd steering behavior (sometimes light, sometimes heavy etc) - but.. Where is the speed sensor? Somewhere hard to get to I'll bet ECU diag came up 55 BTW... Sigh, knew I shoulda done a tranny diag too originally..

Can anyone explain the benefit of "Learning curve, fuzzy logic, blah blah blah" that you get with the super dooper boost controllers that some of you have. Is 15psi not going to be exactly the same whether you use boost jets or a fancy controller. I need a good technical reason so I can justify it when the other half discovers I have blown some more money on gadgets for the Z Paul

Since there seem to be a lot of people backing out of track time at Trax, I was wondering if any of you had a spare helmet that you could lend me. I've still not managed to get one sorted and it's drawing very close. If I don't get one sorted by next weekend, I'll have to buy one Cheers, Andy

Having got rid of my Z, I've been burying through my boxes and have found a dual 52mm gauge pod for the A-pillar. I bought it from Autometer a while back and have never fitted it!!. Its actually made for a right hand drive Z and fits perfectly down the contours of the pillar. First to offer me £20 gets it!! Mail me if anyone is interested... Chris

Right here we go then...after reading the post about the GTO it's got me on a roll. All you guys out there who have whooped a Boxster in yer Z, great but you need to listen to this. Porch make two guises of Boxster, very similar to most sports cars. One is for the poor bastards that wanna look good and go slower coz they can't afford the blistering performance! The other, is a barn stormer which you inherit after yer Anna Nicole-Smith Granny kicks it goodbye! Get the jist? Anyway, the poofy, hairdresser version is no mean feat when it comes to whooping arse. Driving along quite happily back from Hitchin on Thursday night, just jet washed the Kirk and he nee…

Arighty.. Just got my Z Mmm.. Z Z Z ... Mmm.. Ahem aanyway.. Q1. How do you use the cruise control? Should it just be a case of driving along at xxMph, hit "Cruise On" and take your foot off the gas? Q2. Floor it on the Mway, hits 60, and it's like you've jumped off the gas.. Foot off and back on the accelerator, and it'll go up to 80 and do the same.. Now the connectors to the CAS are a little dodgy - reckon that could be it? Other than that, it's fine.. Might need a new set of tie rod bushes (Deja Vu? ) but it don't half fly... Az

Hi All Has anybody else seen the Z in the new Max Power? It's very heavily modded on the body side with various bits and bobs, I don't think it even looks like a Z anymore looks like a Peugeot, can't say I like it too much myself but each to their own! Check it out anyway. BTW, I don't normally buy this magazine but there was nothing else in the newsagents so I bought it anyway regards JOHN

i have been promised the tickets every day this week but they still havent arrived yet, they should be here on monday i am told. however, i am on holiday, so i have left it down to warren to post the tickets out once they arrive. the track session is booked for 5pm, and briefing at 4pm, so i have a choice for you... do you want me to keep the track tickets until you arrive at TRAX, and just send the entry tickets and car passes, so that if you cant make it i can try to sell the track time to someone and get your money back ? or shall i get warren to send the track time tickets to you along with the entry tickets and car passes regardless ? please …

Okay, I took my ride to the shop, and had some tests done on it. They stated that it may be a problem with the inercooler or the wastegates may be jamed open- Meaning on pressure???? If that's the case, is that somthing that I can do myself?- He want's $500 us to pull off the inercoolers to check the wastegates. Does that sound right? I would favor the help. Thx Lavone
