I have a Jap import 300ZXTT with tyres all round at 225/50-16. Could someone please let me know the correct tyre pressures please. My owners handbook (at least, i think that's what it is) is in Japanese only and sadly, my English is only just passable let alone all those wierd squigles and things!

There is a video clip being repeatedly shown this afternoon of a US Army Humvee being followed by a black Zed. Just thought you'd be interested to see that not all Zeds are prone to buildings falling ontop of them... All kidding aside, it is absolutely incredible what has happend yesterday and I have personally got three acquantances who work in the twin towers, none of whom have shown any indication of being okay at this point in time. I have lived in Washington DC for 4 years and have visited both the Pentagon area and both WTC towers in NYC on several occasions for business. I just can not put my mind around the fact that someone out there organized all this. What's mo…

After reading the Daily Mail this morning reporting on the tragic events yesterday there is a picture of a white Zed crushed and on fire outside the pentagon. The pictures of people jumping to there deaths to escape the fires in the twin towers just beggars belief!!! I hope whoever is responsable gets whats coming to them.

Last night I had power steering failure with the result that PS Oil is now everywhere. Having looked at it this morning, in the hope that it was a hose, it appears that the shaft of the pump has moved forward (see pic A), has anyone else had this happed, can you rebuild the pump or is it a replacement, is so how much? The drive belt is also running out of true as seen looking down (pic B). Any help would be really appreciated. Pic A Pic B Thanks tim

Just like to say thanks to warren for arranging the group buy on the 3g brake disks. Good to meet you and Craig this evening, I got back okay but country lanes without power steering is hard work! Everything is covered in oil so I cant see what has gone, has anyone else had the power sttering fail? What should I look for, are the pumps prone to failure or do the hoses perish. Taking tomorrow am off work to investigate any ideas greatly appreciated. Tim

Trying to plumb in my boost gauge. I've been to 10 shops today... yes really, 10... and no luck, including Allparts, plumb shops, car shops and some local industrial part places... Almost annoying!

OK - just finished making a set of bulbs.. The process needs refining a little (i.e. I need something to hold the bulb while I work, and I should have tinned the bulb base properly before soldering to get a better joint).. Gonna run with these for a week or so, keep 'em on a bit, and see how they stand up to the heat etc under there.. If the process works OK, I can knock 'em up for anyone who wants 'em.. Az

Hi Guyz, I'm in the middle of having my brakes rebuilt and have run into a slight prob,4 of the 8 pistons have had it on the front end. Nissan don't seem to have any in the UK at the moment and it could take up to a week to get some. Problem is I'm driving to the Lake District Tmw to celebrate my wedding anniversary (or not as the case may be). Has anyone got a set of standard callipers left over from an upgrade they don't want?? then i could maybe get some semi decent pots. I'm in the west London area but will drive the other halfs fiesta if needs be to where ever (with in reason) cheers Pete.

One of my mates is about to get an Alfa Romeo GTV (3litre V6). Anyway, we were debating the insurance on it. I thought that the Z must be group 19/20 and that the Alfa would be around 17. He gets a magazine out and it says the opposite!!! The Z was 17 and the Alfa was 19/20!! I told him that that was crap but I thought that I'd check by applying for an online quote at the AA. The Z: £2600 The Alfa: £3800 WTF is going on there?? 300bhp vs 220bhp. Both 3litre V6 but the Z has twin turbos. The Z is also rwd and the Alfa is fwd (I assume the insurance companies prefer the safe understeering fwd to rwd cars??). Surely the Z is more sexy, super-car like an…

Any ideas where i could get a set of brake calipers from ? Does not have to be brand new, as long as they work. Also, are any of you Z experts in the London, M3/M4 coridoor area as i need some advise on a couple of issues regarding my Z (UK-93-TT), which I purchased a month ago. It's my first one, so im no expert. Having just avoided a near "death" experience last night, i think i should get things sorted on the car!! Cheers
