Evening one and all, I'm at my wits end in trying to figure out what is causing my engine to "rattle" under light load ... At first I thought it was detonation but a quick visit to AndyP and a timing adjustment ruled that out. It is now really starting to p*ss me off intensely. Here's the situation: When the engine is at operating temperature (i.e., warmed up propperly) there is a definite rattle when the auto box shifts into fourth gear and subsequently into OD. The rattle is much more pronounced and louder in OD but is still audible one gear lower. The only analogy I can come up with is the sound an engine makes when you're driving along in too high a gear …

If we manage to get another meet going... You know that for the last few get-togethers food has been a problem? From what I've heard anyway! What would be a right laugh is finding the nearest McD's and taking 30+ Z's through the drivethrough! ROFLMFAO Doesn't take much to get me going eh?

Can't go to Kemble now due to the front of my car being removed by a Corsa Couldn't see a fucking thing out of window and a learner being taught by his dad broke very hard and I slid into the back of him - couple of deep scrapes on top of bumper but major damage done by the poxy pea shooter of an exhaust that went right through my front spoiler (not OE)... to make matters worse (or perhaps better in the eyes of insurance) his car had no damage! So due to this not able to attend, if any member would like to buy my place off me and I'll change the booking name OR I'll just kiss goodbye £50 and a weekend away Life sucks Robb

Okay.... I've watched the Star Wars trilogy about 10 times and I am still no closer to developing the force. Why would I need it? Because the f**king headlights on my Z are useless. Cosmetically there fantastic and I appreciate the innovation of Nissan and the large ammounts of cash invested in them. However, when it comes to seeing where you're going, you'd be better off with two small haddock taped to the front of the car. I have a UK model, so apart from changing the indicators around for Jap ones, driving lights aren't really an option. What's the best solution? HID's are prohibitively expensive. There are sites that sell (illegal for road use) 'rally' …

Eventually got round to fitting s/steel brake hoses at the weekend and now the master cylinder has decided to start leaking. Anyone tell me what the part no. is cos Nissan have to email japan to find out ( useless ba***rds). Antone no if it would be cheaper to buy the whole thing complete, cos someone said it might be. Paul.

Do the jap imports have tinted head lights? The reason I ask is cos' my zx has a driver side head light that looks like its slightly brown tinted and the passanger side head light is realy clear! I think at some point the passanger front light has been changed! OR is it just age and dirt in/on the lense inside? It would be nice to have a matching set of lights so do I go for a Jap passanger side HD-light or a UK driver side HD-light? Sorry for all the daft questions Cheers!

Needed a new 2nd car, as my wee crappy 87 XR2 finally failed its checkup with major skin cancer. So... managed to get a 1990 Saab 9000 2.3 turbo for 1200 quid. Leather, more gadgets than the space shuttle (cruise, climate, computers, sun sensor, bla bla), 200hp, 250 ft/lbs. 0-60 6.6secs 140 mph. But it's the in gears that are amazing.. similar grunt to the 300 here.. The thing is mad as a tree.. leaps towards the horizon when the turbos kick in... class. If yer looking for a cheap larf, get one today! Also, since it's over 10 yo, firebond insure it for 100 quid! ... the only thing I've found good about being over 30 so far. stu …

I think this has been done before however I have a contact where I can get Musto fleeces embrioded with the Z Logo for £45.00. These sell for £75.00 in the shops but if I can get thirty names together the price stands you at £45.00. If anyone is interested reply to this message. Does anyone have a good Z image I can use as a pattern. If I can get a repsonce fairly quickly I could firm up prices. These are top quality fleeces. I have had one to two years and still looks new. And yes I have worn it;D Colours or blue with red colar or red with blue colar. The blue ones look smart. Please if your interested let me know. Tim

I have a CAT1 Toad Alarm for sale. It has just been removed from my Escort Crapiolet which was happily sold the other day!! The exact model number is AI606. It also has the automatic window lifters. Together this cost me £400 to buy about 3 months ago. (The same installer removed it). I also have a Microscan Talking module with external proximity sensors which is also connected to the alarm. This cost me £100 to get fitted. I have all the certificates, bills, instructions etc, and want only £250 for the lot. I had the same alarm fitted to my Z before I sold it to Senna and had no troubles with it. Come on guys, someone wants it!!!!!

Hi Guys, Does anyone in the UK sell B&B triflo exhausts for the Z? and how do you over come the pipe length problems (insert joke here) with the 2+2 T.T as I understand B&B dont make a system for the 2+2 T.T? and last but not least, how much power should I expect to gain when coupled with a Blitz induction Kit? Thanks, Brian
