Hi I had to remove the TPS yesterday and to set it correctly I used a guide on Google although it wasn't very well explained I think I've managed to do it. But just wanted to check if anyone knew the issues if it wasn't set up correctly. Car idles just below 1000. And seems to change gear ok. Is there a better guide elsewhere or do you think it will be ok?

Some of you already know or had seen pics of my Z posted, ever since I got this Z I´ve always focused on keeping it clean and all original as possible, well some folks have been lately rounding my mind into fitting a set of 99 JDM Tail lights, they state car will look much more fresh and new look. Things is...am I the only one who thinks that green cobalt with the stock lights also look beautiful?? or am I going nuts? need some true sincere advice here, when I look at the car I still see it beautiful even with the original stock tail lights. So question is..should I spend my $$$ on the set of 99 JDM Tail? or should I keep the actual stock ones? Thanks folks…

Hey guys. The below photos show blocked vacuum pipes in my engine bay. Also the afm connecter has been disconnected at the filters. There is no manual boost controller anywhere in the car. The pipe with the red stopper in the end is the same on both sides. What's your thoughts, remapped ECU? Car is not registered yet so not driven properly to check boosting levels.

Spotted a black zed on the m6 j19. Not galloping free unfortunately but on a trailer with a silver van.

The big Scottish car show has just past but iv been looking into it and the possibility of us having a stand next year. It's held in Edinburgh. what I'm wondering is would any of our further traveled members be interested in joining us for it? We need a minimum of 8 and there isn't enough zeds up our way.

finally finished the decat install and in process i found this [ATTACH=CONFIG]81332[/ATTACH] the blue pipe is capped and above it is a metal pipe which has nothing on it and in between the two a black pipe which has been cut. anyone know anything about them or what delete they are associated with? thanks

how do i upload a very short film on here as a link or somthing? i bassically i have a six min film of somthing i want to share with you guys ,i have it on my hard drive on this laptop im using now and also have it on a memory stick. Now before somone says stick it on youtube then post the url, i cant becauase im working offshore and the youtube url is banned and we cant upload it to there, is there a way of me getting it up haere for the starters. the file is only about 100mb thats all.

Is there any precautions I should take before starting a zed that's been unused for approx 2yrs. Is there any need to crank it without firing to get the oil moving? Or any other suggestions?

Started to fit the exhaust and first problem is this not sure if it's meant to be there or not the middle piece that's bolted down I think it's unnecessary as the oem one is one big opening as opposed to the two individual puppies on the decats. I could be wrong though. Any ideas so I can get this done today thanks

Hi all, I'm trying to sort several issues on my car at once and the gearbox is still holding onto the gears for too long. Here's where I'm at at the minute. I've now sorted the idle out so it's idling at the correct rpm. I've again reset the TPS with the help of JeffTT's guide so that is now set at 0.46. The car is still holding into every gear until 3500 rpm when under acceleration regardless of speed or amount of acceleration. If I take my foot off the accelerator for a few seconds then the car will change up to the appropriate gear. When I first set the TPS it was originally sitting at 1. I set it to 0.46. Hi everyone still here and while I've been free I've managed to sort a few things out on my z. Currently have completely removed both sides down pipes and cats today. Relatively quiet easy apart from the tight space and only snapped two pins. Questions is do I need to replace the sensors on both sides or am I ok with blanking them. Also the sensors that were in the cats there's no place for them so can I cut the wire or can I completely remove the sensor including wiring. Will there be any warning lights I'll need to address after. Another thing when removing the passenger side down pipes I removed the battery to gain access from the top and disconnected a pipe to make w…

I'm wanting to buy a consult kit for my zed, which kit is best do you guys think? Price is not an issue, I want functionality to be able to view/change parameters etc. any advice appreciated.

Hi. I know Nismo and Tomei are the best injectors in the market. However these are very expensive. Is it worth to look for cheaper ones like Deatchwerks, Aus or Jecs? Or should I stay away from these? Thanks

I understand there is no definitive answer to this question, and it all depends on engine condition, fuel, maintenance etc. My car has the mushroom air filters, a mines ecu, a FMIC and a decat exhaust, everything else is stock including injectors and turbos. The car has a boost controller on already and is currently boosting at 10psi. Is there any room to increase this? Obviously I know the higher the boost the higher the risk to everything but was wondering if anyone here with a similar setup could say they have safely ran X amount of boost for the last X amount of time without issue.. looking at gt252 tubs 63.ar 360 thrust bearings ect and t25 flange so i can bolt straght on with 2.5 inch devorced exhaust pipes. apart from z1 anywere else i can find out info or purchase in this country. so far 1.695 dollar for pair without the downpipes. were else do trade on here please

I was just wondering what people thought about what front light look best for my black zed. So, generally I was thinking of either spraying the insides chrome/silver, or maybe black. What's do you's think?
