I need new wastegates and came upon dual port wastegate actuators. As far as I have understood you can have a low spring rate (low boost) and adjust for higher boost with a boost controller. But I haven't been able to find any information on the setup on a twin turbo with ebc. Someone wrote something about using two 3 port ebc solenoids hooked up "out of phase"??? Is there anyone that knows how to apply this to the 300?

I have random sizes I can't match exactly on my exhaust and one end is a pair of fabricated flanges that join the exhaust. This is a genuine 99 spec panel that belongs to a friend of mine, i await some parts to come in order for the now adapted 2 x light chambers to be completed. Although the red 300ZX outwardly is exactly the same....well it is actually redder :thumbup1:. It lights up as well, might well look pinky or orange but it is in fact the perfect red !! And in practically complete darkness :biggrin:.

looking at new rims that are the following size. Front 18x8.5 ET40 & Rear 18x9.5 ET45 (5x114.3) I want to know what size spacers I need to improve the stance a little. I am thinking 10mm front and 5mm rear. Also recommendations for the make of spacer please.

Well got some weird results..... Back of engine...... Drivers side Passenger side 6 = 172...../.....3 = 162 5 = 170...../.....2 = 162 4 = 162...../.....1 = 162 Front of engine....... Cylinder 6 was at 180 as it was first one I tested cylinder 5 was at 172 second one tested...... I went back after testing passenger side bank just to be sure and they came out as above, a bit lower...... haven't used tester in a while so retested to make sure nothing was wrong with it...... Worried as the rears are so high on cylinders 5 & 6 ???? Worrying now after Stephens nightmare with NA engine why they are reading so high and what …

Nice to meet you guys! Im Mario from Rome. This friday i've bought a mint 300zx TT from an elder man near my city, she is perfect, low mileage, always serviced and garaged and he wanted really little money. She only have a little electronic problem. The elder man, told me that the dash have a failing electronic board, but he wasnt able to find a replacement. The things that dont work properly are: Odometer, Hicas, Cruise control, Econ, Mileage counter and sometime the power steering stop working for some minutes. Hi all, recently installed HIDs onto my car but found them dangerously dim when driving in the country (which is where i do the majority of my driving) Found the standard bulbs were bad but these are shocking. I Know its difficult to diagnose a ruff engine when you cant see it or hear it! Last week for no reason car started but was running ruff on idle. Set off engine seems to vibrate but goes & less vibration when foot off the gas. Took it for a run Sunday starts no problem still running ruff no missfires. bangs or rattles. Put foot down, no kick down just a steady pick up of speed, like running on 5/4 cylinders? Back home no smoke from exhausts just the same running unsteady, no just ruff!! at a 1000RPM no rise or fall. No cooling problems no wiffs or puffs of smoke, oil pressure water temp all ok? My car is a 1990 NA jap import. It was an auto, but the previous owner converted it to a manual. There are a few things that are strange: 1) When starting the car (hot or cold) the power light on the dash flashes on and off and the car revs its self for about 10 sec. Seems to rev between 2-4000 rpm. (kinda annoying because people think im sitting in it reving it to show off :blink:) 2) Tick-over when cold seems to be about 2100 rpm which with my exhausts is really loud in queuing traffic! tick-over when warm seems to be 1500-1750 rpm. It does lower by about 250-500 rpm if i press the "off" switch for the heater/AC. 3) If I stamp on the "go" peddle, the car h…
