Hi guys, Im after afew things for the car from Japan, such as a full Final Konnexions bodykit and GReddy 2/3 row FMIC. Im just wondering if any trader/s has contacts over in Japan that can get hold of these parts for me? I think the whole bodykit is around £700 and the FMIC around £550 - I would try myself but cannot speak Japanese :x: . I would like to order these ASAP so if you can help, please say :dance: Thanks in Advance Rob

Went out today for a little drive, poodling about round town. All was fine till I turned into this very deserted area round the back of me. As I turned the corner I noticed the engine revs picked up dramastically and the speed was uncontolable. Was forced to take the corners at very fast speeds, where I heard this very strange screeching noise followed by this maniac laugh. I persisted out of intrest for about, off I dont know 40 minutes or so, then I smelt which could only be described as a burning brake sort of smell. About 10 minutes later the brakes did not seem to work, which caused teh screeching sound to increase. At this point the car did something very strang…

hey guys what causes the dipstick to come out on its own ?? the car has been running sh1t since i raced my mate on his bike i thought ity might be a coilpack or plug cos its been slightly missing and running generally crappy like stalling on its own and idleing poorly but had a look under the bonnet today and the dipstick had come out and pissed oil everywhere this indicates theres a problem something gotta pushed it out i.e compression leak any advice on this ?????

How many of you guys know anything about these? Does a zed have them and if so are they the same as on a 100nx? I'm a dumb blonde and need your help! :headvswal The reason i ask is because i'm looking at a 100nx tomorrow (OH talked me into starting driving lessons, i'm gonna use that till i pass test and feel confident enough to drive a zed) but i've been warned against rusty knackered rear tower struts, the one i'm off to look at had them welded last year by the garage cos it failed the MOT, first time in 9 years apparantly, cost her loads to have it fixed. Ami i wasting my time or is it worthwhile looking at?

Any one about... I need new tyres to day. Result! After sending my old set of goodridge hoses that were supposed to fit a zed back to the exeter section of goodridge the new kit arrived this week. Fitted perfectly! Pedal feel is better and brakeing is more effective! I have a 1995 mark 4 TT with black light weight recaro seats. I think they are from a later model car. I was thinking of buying an old set (1991) electric, and getting them recovered in leather as mine are OK fo an hours drive but after 3 hours or so are a bit uncomfortable (so my other half tells me). Are the 1990 seats the same shape and design as later models or did they change? Don't want to buy old ones to recover if newer ones are a better design. Also can you get an electric passenger seat or use 2 drivers seats ?

Hi y'all. I've been on before 'bout vibration and got a couple of replies suggesting it may be the centre bearing on the prop shaft. I got a mechanic to check it out and he said he could find nothing that was obviously faulty with the bearing or any other joint or coupling. My question is, as I was going to order a new bearing and have it fitted as a process of elimination, would I be better fitting a new one piece prop shaft? Any pros and cons and also does anyone know the best place to source these. Cheers, S

I have decided to look for a later version of the Z32 than my present 1990 model. I know I've only had it 5 minutes but I have been intoxicated by the many Z32's I've seen at JAE, club sites, AutoTrader, eBay and the web generally and have decided to get a version that has some of the add-on features that I've seen and liked. I have discovered it will be cheaper to buy another Z and sell mine rather than add these features my present Z. Somewhere, I have seen an article or post that said many improvements were made to the Z32 at a particular point in it's production - I think it was around 1994/95. I recently swap a jdm 92 tt in my 95 na, first time i tried to time the car it was at +20 so i tried to reach +15, as soon as i got +15 the car rev a bit and the timing went crasy +30 +20 +40...in a second, so i stop the engine, i reposition everything to where it was, I check the self-diagnose and i got a 55 code... then I start the engine again warm everything up rev the engine a bit and find out that the timing is now + 30, the engine runs smooth... so i give it another try but i cant only get to +20 and the engine is not running smooth anymore... anybody can help, please!!!

here goes, i installed 1.2mm boost jets and a new boost gauge when i first time floor the zed i get 11-12 psi but after 10 min it goes back to stock boost 9.5psi. my new boost gauge is reading 2.5psi out i dont know why at full tilt i get 9.5psi but the gauge says 7psi.

Today I've found a problem with my auto box it got up to about 8000 revs without changing up, I eased off the gas pedal and it then changed up. On the drive home it seemed to change normally at low revs but any time I used a bit of throttle it just revved high without much go. I cannot do an auto box diagnostics as the AT light has not worked since I've had the car. Any suggestions?

just bought this inline fuel pressure gauge so i can leave it in to monitor fuel pressure, however ive got smithys fuel line kit & the ends on the gauge are smaller in diameter so wont be able to tighten/secure hose to gauge properly does anyone know where i could get the right ones, would hardware shops stock something like this ??
