Watched the ol' gal grumble up the road today :cry: -I just hope Chris and Suzy enjoy her as much as I did! Might of mentioned before that out of all the cars Iv'e ''messed'' with,the 600 was the one I would liked to of hung on to,well it's done now and got to focus on the goal!! :D

Hi, Does anyone know why the red light on the dash that has a picture of a hot exhaust on it lights up when im driving it hard...obviously its getting too hot and warning me.. The car smells of overheated rubber hose also and sometimes puffs steam from under bonnet although the temp gauge is at halfway(crap stock gauge i know)..It just seems to be hotter than i would expect under the bonnet.. Its only running stock boost too.. Ive only had the car for a fortnight and its the first Z ive owned and dont want to damage it before i can enjoy it Thanks for your help....steve

I have just looked at a UK TT and am in two minds whether to purchase. My only real concern is that the boost gauge doesn't work and I have read so many horror stories opn these cars that I reluctant to take much of a risk. I already have a N/A and this one definately feels considerably quicker through the revs. How can I tell is the turbos are any good without a gauge that is working correctly. Also, is gauges packing up a common problem and how easy are they to fix. Any advice appreciated.

need a bit of help! i have smoke coming from passenger side zorst. a very small amount comes out when first on boost. it happens the most when ive been driving and i come to a standstill. it lasts for about 10-15 seconds then clears up. ive changed pcv valves yesterday. still having problems!!

saw it yesterday, going from southwell to kirklington.

Hi everyone. My poor, poor Zed is weeing coolant all over my drive. I don't have the faintest idea where the leak is - could be a gasket or a hose or the heater matrix....no idea. I would like to take it to a garage, but I don't know who I can trust with my baby! Can anyone name a garage in Bangor, Gwynedd that has Zed experience? Alternatively, is there anyone in the local area who would be willing to come look at it for me? Willing to pay - espescially if I can learn more about the engine in the process. i saw a grey z coming out of daventry towards northampton and another silver z on the A45 going past wellingborough ooow also there is a bright red z parked on a driveway in lavendon looks really nice just wondering if its anyone off this site

I've got some battery-powered bolt remover and other normal tools. any word of what to look out for and if you feel I must let Nissan take my £400.00 to do the job,feel free to say so. you know the little fog lights (on jap specs) is there any other way of changing them when is blown... the screws on the plastic bit on mine are worn and they just go round n round..... and i dont wanna smash them up :cry: is there anyway of doing it from the inside? :headvswal :headvswal

Hello, I need your help guys :D I'm having major probs getting my Twin turbo into 5th gear at high RPM. Every other gear is fine but gunning it going from 4th to 5th is a no go, it goes halfway in then just pops out never fully engaging. The only time it will go in is at v.low rpm e.g less than 200rpm which is not practical.I have done a few mods but nothing that would stress the 'box although I do have a flea bay short shifter fitted. Could it possibly be the synchros going?? Thanks in advance Chris

Looking at my spare clutch pedal there are 2 clutch switches on it, one is for the cruise control (which one?) what is the other one for? Jay

Anyone else had a prob with their turbo timer after installing Traction Control? Timer was set to auto and varied its run time based on rpm (tapped into ecu wire) All worked fine. Installed Racelogic (tapped into same wire - I actually tapped into the timer wire about half an inch up where that tapped into ecu wire), and TC works fine. However - now my timer wont work on auto - seems that TC is stealing the signal. It shouldnt make any difference that I tapped into the timer rpm wire as its only half inch away from original wiring), and the fact that tc is working show the signal is coming up that wire.

Due to start retrimming my interior from tomorrow and just wanted to know whats the best glue spray to use and where to buy it from. The trim is standard vinyl going over the usual interior pieces like doors/glove box etc. Cheers.

just picked my car up had 2 new dampers on the back, i have been sold jap spec dampers for my uk car (not happy) car feel's far to hard and just pulled into my road and the back just let go almost in to the kerb thank god no other car was there or i'd have no more ZED
