Just had a Dutch truck driver drive into the side of the Z, was sat in traffic just outside work and he puts his indicator on and drives straight into me. I was stationary in the outside lane of the carriage way so couldn't go anywhere! I just sat there for a second swearing a lot, then the object of my wrath comes into view, he could hear me as the glass had smashed when the truck had mangled the door. I took a second or two to get out of the car, when the the guy saw the size of me and how pissed I was he ran back to his truck cab. I really wanted to bounce his head off the front of his truck. I calmed down and then relised I was blocking the carriage way so dro…

Got the whole assy out of my old Z as it still has the Ti key, can you get just the barrel out like on some other cars or do you have to change the whole ignition barrel/steering lock assy? Jay

Yo all, Just bought Greddy BOV from Kirbz, look the part, but how do u fit them :smash: , The BOV's fit onto a flange which is the same dia as the T-piece which joins to the air filter. Do u just cut the hard pipe and fit the flange between the t-piece and the cut hardpipe!?! And then bunge up the remaining hole and attach the vac line to it? Cheers. :)

It's been about 4 years since I had a Z and it's time for another....there seems to be plenty of rubbish on the market and the finer cars are seeming to be SWBs but they scare me a bit.... What's the deal with parts? I guess most of the engine is identical but the car has to be a daily driver so I can't have it sat in the shop for weeks waiting for bits from Japan. What are your experiences guys? I had a LWB auto TT before and loved it.....going for a manual this time, pref. S2, black, leather and with some of the mods I'd make already done - suspension, BOV, stainless twin pipes. Do Series 2 cars exist in SWB ? Appreicate any advice.......

Hello all, it's been a while since I last posted, I have 2 questions. 1. For some strange reason, only one speaker is working, the centre one and not sure why, everything in there is standard. 2. Is there a fuse for the feed into the centre speaker because when I was trying different speakers I think I blew the fuse, the radio comes on but now there is nothing from the centre speaker. Sorry for all this and any help would be much appreciated.

I've been looking into getting a new front bumper which is primed and ready to spray. Just spoke to a guy, he reckons it's gonna cost £220 +, just to spray the front bumper... that sounds way too high. What kind of price should I be looking for? thanks. snx

Hi my speedo seems to work most of the time, however, sometimes it completely cuts out and goes to zero. Then it decides to work again. anyone have this same problem? it must be something to do with the sensors. this also happens with the turbo guage but not very often.

Anyone know where you can buy the software for conZult?. Does it run on a normal laptop or do you need a specialist piece of kit?.

Hola, I read somewhere that if you have HID headlamps on a car they need to have headlamp washer units to pass the MOT. Have you fitted HID's to your zed and passed the MOT?

Folks, I've just swapped my stock indicators for crystal clear jobbies and the wing repeaters for clear ones too. When I did this I put in silvertec bulbs as well 'cos I didn't want my lights to look like fried eggs. Problem is, about 80% of the time when I indicate the bulbs just light up but don't flash. If it's the indicator flasher unit, where do I find it? Help! Cheers, Tony

Well my alarm woes continue The guy locked me out of it when he fitted it but luckely the drivers door was slightly open to we managed to unlock it after lots of messing with a coat hanger. Now i have not driven it for a few days and the alarm just went off so i went outside to switch it off and its killed the battery but the problem is i now cant open the doors as in tony lacks wisdom he removed all the locks to stop people getting in :slap: So what do i do??? The funny thing is i had the same alarm fitted to my R32 last year and its all coming back to me now, after i had that one fitted i had battery problems ie it ran it down over about 48 hours!!…

  19. Thought I'd post up some F&F's from the clubs new database I set up earlier in the year. Obviously the data is from the current members who have forwarded their information to me and have been issued with a Membership Pack. So far, we have 461 members on the database but I'm estimating we still have between 100 - 150 members who have still to recieve their packs. The more members who apply for a Membership pack, the more accurate the club's database will be. If you are a current subscribed member and would like to recieve a Membership pack, all you need to do is forward your data to me, via PM, and I'll do the rest. The following link has details of what in…

I have been waiting for mac to get back to me but to no luck so I have decided to run my project past the forum.I am looking at finding a supplier that will produce sweatshirts, poloshirts, caps, tshirts and jackets with this logo on, it was just gonna be for my own use but I wondered if anyone else would be interested if I can find supply at a decent price. My plan was to have the logo embroidered on the left breast area of the shirts and jacket and the front of caps, the logo has tt after the z standing for Twin Turbo if there was enough interest from NA owners I would also do a run without the TT.Of course this could all just be conjecture if I am the only one who wan…
