I made a post about a week ago after I noticed just how much my clutch is slipping. After a bit of a look round I need help choosing out of the following 2 clutches; the Sz RPS Max Street (from specialtyz) and the Stage 3 Competition Clutch kit. I know both of these are in fellow members' cars, so has anyone had any problems with either? Cheers

I'm going to paint my slicktop 300zx it's currently white so not super flashy or special looking slicktops originally where only made white so I don't want to decrease the value of the car so I'm also wondering if it would decrease the value and I'm also wondering what colour I should paint it if I decide to paint it another colour besides white

What is the pros and cons of the EGR and a PVC delete kit? Should I invest in this or not? We were all taking cars earlier and one of the guys asked did I do the delete kits? He wasn't clear on the benefits. I've seen them sold but truly never investigated the benefits in the Z32 Thanks The Ikon

Hi all, I bought this subject up when I first bought the car. I still have this pipe sitting by the battery tray believed to be a old way SE Nissan used to raise the boost. After trying to find out info on the site I found that generally 1mm mig tips are used each side on the inlet to gain around 15psi of boost. As this one is T'd off to a single pipe I was thinking that I should have a 2mm mig tip in the end of the pipe to run around 15psi? What do you guys think? It's about 6mm at the moment. Thanks Dan.

Hi all I am thinking of taking the plunge into 300zx TT waters...and have a couple of question. 1. Are they useable in the wet, with a light foot, without ending up sideways in a ditch? 2. Are the back seats able to a compare teenagers ? Or are they really only for storage ? 3. Is there anyone you recommend to carry out an inspection in the Watford / Enfield area ? 4. What's the average price of a tidy & well looked after 300zx TT auto ? 5. what is the maintenance cost of running one of these 4K miles a year ? Service ? Turbo ? Cam belt ? Any other expensive bits I should look out for ? 6. Is there a checklist of things I I should make sure the car…

Hey, I saw these and thought - nice! They really caught my eye. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/18-inch-alloy-wheels-5x114-Lexus-IS-GS-SC-220-250-300-350-430-450-NISSAN-S13-S14-/252328286810?fits=Model%3A300+ZX&hash=item3abff01a5a:g:PWYAAOSwa-dWsT33 Despite not being ready for wheels yet, I could be tempted by these...but am I the only one that thinks they're really cheap, too cheap? I mean even postage is free. So £369 all in. I know you can get wheels at this price, but normally they're of a more basic design, definitely not deep dish (ish) So, is it just me? Just airing on the side of caution, feedback looks good, though it is limited. …

My clutch release bearing is noisy so I have decided to pull the box and change the whole clutch. I think I am running approx 360+ rwhp, so I'm after something which would take further mods I guess about 500hp. There are many on ebay, do any particular brands come highly rated, also I have noticed some hybrid flywheels. Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Just brought the car back out from storage. Just before I put it away in October, a couple times the car went into safety boost, there was no symptoms, car seems to be running fine, no error codes. I brought it out to plat at the weekend, did about 60 miles, car all good, no issues.. Yesterday, did about 20 miles on way to a gig, into safety boost again, a simple switch off and on again and the car boosts once more. One thew way back home, same thing. Hooked up to Datascan again this morning, still no error codes. As the fault is intermittent without a clear symptom other than safety boost, where do I start checking first? Cheers lads.

I've got bigger SMICs on the way and think the extra room will help installation and flow to the intercooler Is it safe to remove the coal canister? Downfalls? Has anyone found a smaller overflow tank that they mounted? If yes do you have instructions xD! If not i think I will remove it after reading a thread on here on this case. So, Would you remove them? I'm more concerned with the coal canister really. If there's any alternatives too. Thanks

Not driven the zed for a while so last week I took it out to give it a run and noticed I had no boost. The boost gauge needle would get to 0 but not go any further. I have checked the boost pipes I can see and thought I heard a bit of a hiss from the pipe off the back of the balance bar. Took it off and saw it had a cut where the clamp had cut into the rubber. I have put a load of insulating tape around it to see if it makes a difference but no joy. Am I missing something else?

So four nights ago someone tried to steal the Z. My own fault really as she has no security whatsoever. Just locked. I live in a decent area and have owned classics before without any security. Thankfully the *******s only got as far as the car park across the road and scarpered before hotwiring it. I lost my job back in Feb due to redundancies, the year hasn't been all sunshine and rainbows. I'd love to get some security. I've been quoted £350 for alarm and immobilizer installment. £180 for just an immobilizer. I may have to go with the physical stuff for the time being, until I'm back in work. What would you guys recommend i could do, on a budge to protec…

Doing some research for what will best suit my requirements. I'm looking for a wideband AFR with an output that is triggered when the AFR is out of range. So I can connect this to a boost solenoid or injector harness to reduce risk. Is AEM's Failsafe the only product that does this, or are there other brands or makes. I don't really want or need the data logging. I notice their cheaper model says it has an 0-5v output but fails to say what it's purpose is. Can anyone expand on this please?
