anyone ever put staggered wheel sizes on their cars for example 19's on the back with 18's on the front?

HELP I've had my car resprayed - full bumper off, window out jobbie. The rear bumper before being refitted started to show stretch marks in the paint, even more so when fitted to the car. The body shop confirmed they'd had problems with it and had ended up spraying it twice. Anyway they chose to try again on another bumper (supplied by me) - it seemed to work ok this time but now i've got it home (not yet fitted to car) i can see stretch marks appearing again :mad: The rear bumpers are incredibly bendy compared to the front and I wonder if the paint simply isn't able to stretch with it hence the marks. I'm wondering if a solution is to have it sprayed whil…

Just wondering if anyone here has done an auto to manual conversion on a z? I know of an auto with a broken box and was just wondering if it could be an option for a cheap car (realy not an auto fan!) :confused:

Hi all, Been caught speeding in the Zed, had a letter back from the police saying that instead of points or a fine been offered the option of a speed awareness workshop. Has anybody been on one of these as going to take this option? Thanks Fonz

hey guys the garage are convinced that i need to buy a new fuel pump on my car they reckon it wont flow well enough to run 555s and the z1 600 tubs... Everything i read tells me they are wrong whats the deal?

For some reason my TPS has gone a tad potty. Basically when i went out for a drive, first time i stopped the idle went to 2.5k and wouldnt come down. So I went back and though I test the TPS and got a reading of 0.41. Moved it around and the reading didnt change, not did the idle. So i disconnected the yellow plug at the back of the engine, so I could set idle. When i disconnected it the idle dropped to about 950rpm and If i reconnect it goes back upto 2,500 rpm. So left it off. What the bad point in leaving that yellow connector off? What do I need to do to get my idle back normal wiht it plugged back on?

Saw a white zed on Southport coastal road today at 18.30. I was busy test driving my sisters new company car :cool: so i did'nt flash, but i think it was a standard UK zed :) Was it you?

After PJ nicely sent me a hose. I was able to trim it slightly and replce my broken one (one I emptied the bits out that were stuck in it LOL). Also managed to sort out the broken wire (though havent done an ecu check to confirm). One thing i have noticed that my notchy gearchange has now dissapeared. Dont know if it was due to disconnecting and reconecting various hoses to get to the offending leaking water ones, or of the one i replaced on the balance bar was something to do with the clutch.

Does anyone know which man decided to put the ac pipe right ontop of the passenger side lambda sensor restricting access for socket? If you do know who please tell me so i can shoot them dead thanks. If i remove the pipe all the gas will escape right? What can i do?

Hello every one! I'm new to this forum and to 300 zx's, i was just wondering about ecu remaps. I am about to buy a 300 zx tt 5spd man jdm and was wondering what would be the best remap for it? What sort of power i could expect? How much would it be? Where would the best place be to get it done im in Watford. Thank you in advance.

Do rear deffusers actually work? or are they purely a cosmetic thing? If they do work, what could you expect to be improved from fitting one? e.g. better acceleration as you would have better grip, better handling? etc. etc. Could this also mean i could remove more weight from the rear of the car as the deffuser will halp keeping the rear end stuck to the road.

Anyone ever fitted mesh to the bottom section of an NA bumper? If so, how did you do it? Thanks

Hi everybody, my name is Owen, thought id say hello as im hopefully going to be buying a 300zx soon. Im looking at one later on today, its a twin turbo auto, 74k miles k reg import. Ive always wanted one of these cars and made the mistake last year of settling for my second choice of a 200sx and throwing money at it to get it to stage 2. Got bored of it and got rid. Before that i had a mk3 supra 3l turbo which was a really nice drive and i missed it quite a bit. What are the largest width wheels you can get on a Z32 without going over the 16" diametre? From reading I think it's 8.5" at the back of UKDM TT models? Is there a thread with the technical details indluding diametre, offset and width? Thanks in advance! :)

done manual conv aint wired neutral switch and put bigger intercoolers on and my turbo gauge only going half what used too got code55 on ecu

Been out in the car tonight, and parked up to take my dog for a walk, left the car for 3/4 of an hour got in and nothing!
