How would I go about respraying my own Zed? What do I need and do you have any tips? Any other non-professional done it to their own car? What were you experiences? I want to do a top notch job obviously, so how do I do it? And what do I do if I go wrong? Thanks guys.

I will be getting my car back soon from Z Tech who is installing a new engine, all parts are being upgraded eg turbos, injectors etc, so their will be a lot more power than stock, I can not yet afford upgraded smic's, will it be ok to drive the car with stock ic's as long as I take it easy?

does anyone know what happened to dvdcodes not seen him on here for a while need a contact no for him if anyone can help ??

please could someone tell me what the difference.the reason being i had a lead made up a couple of years ago and put the software on a house computer of witch i now dont own ,so i have just a lead but dont know whats it for. Morning, Went down to the bodyshop to check the progress of my car (should finally have primer this week). Thing is they're trying to tell me my front Stillen polyurethane bumper is rubber and they will have problems painting it. Anyone ever heard such rubbish before? Vijay

No more multicoloured Z folks. All the panels have now been painted red. This is not the finished product by the way, just a step closer. It will be going for a FULL respray sometime over winter and I need to do a few jobs to make it look better like removing the black line and polish up the older paintwork.

The shell of the Zed was collected. 5 blokes, some railway sleepers and a lot of bruit force and it was on!! I don't think I will be buying another for some time. I do miss it but it's nice driving round not wondering what's gonna break next! I still have loads of bits to sell so I will be hanging around for a while longer yet. Cheers guys and gals for you help, advice and company on the forums :)

the ecu side of the plug dave...(female) just put it across the 2 pins and it dont matter which way;)

I finished fitting some of my new suspension parts and Big Brakes today :D I got the K-Sport 330mm 8-Pot set-up, they look superb :D I am bedding them in at the mo' so can't really comment on the performance yet, but i'm sure they'll be great, everyone i have talked to have said they are beltin' :D What d'ya reckon :D

I've had my car back for a couple of weeks now and TBH not driven it much as it has had a lot of work done recently. Today i have finished fitting my new suspension and brakes and i was driving it back from my friends and when i was nearly home the revs went upto 2000rpm and would'nt come back down, which was quite un-nerving! And then when i pulled over and put it in neutral it idled at 2500rpm! It did this the other day when i took it for a quick run round the block after its MOT. All of a sudden it was going along at 2000rpm and would'nt come back down! When i pull over and rev the accelerator hard it comes back down to just under 1000rpm. Also every now…

Hi, I live in the south East. My question is of confidence. I recently lost my Zed in a spin, did not do too much damage, but it scared the hell out of me. The roads were a bit damp and although I know they are twitchy when wet, it gave me no clue as to when I was about to loose it. Is there anywhere I can take my Zed to try it out in wet conditions to make it slide so I can get the feel of it, and to perhaps help me get a bit of confidence back?

As some of you know, I have Supra rear lights fitted on my zed.. I recently bought the LED rear lights from 'Zelda' with the intention of fitting the whole set-up. This would have proved very expensive for the body mods to be done, so I used the LED's to do my own DIY conversion. Let me know what you think.. Good or bad lol

Hi guys,my z32 has atarted playing up recently and was wondering if nyone has came across the same problem problem being The car will not idle correctly,revs allways drop below 1000 then fluxuates back to normal revs,or conks out also when drivin it seems to missfire and generally has no piff. Hi ive always fitted a 255 on a 9" rim but ive noticed all of you lot have 265 tyres do these look ok on a 9" wheel or do they look a little big thanks taff.:)

Popped it in this morning and it passed on everything apart from the seatbelts! Apparently no british kite mark on them so the harnesses have to go but apart from that was advised on the steering bush/windscreen crack and something else but the real shock was the emissions: 0.131% (3% max) and 114ppm (1200ppm max) when its smokes like a bitch and wreaks of petrol lol Happy bunny! :dance::dance::dance: I'll sort the seatbelts this weekend then pop in for him to inspect and i'll pick up my test certificate, not bad value at £35 and done while you wait in 30 mins :)

I had a Mines Ecu which fried:( so i got my hands on a Standard Jap spec TT one and my engine is running really nice apart from 1. Down on power :( but i will get it mapped soon! 2. LIMITED to 112 :( As at the end of this month im away through Europe in the Zed and for 1 going through Germany! I need it De-limited for one! Whats the process im guessing Conzult then change it from 112 - 240??? If so i should be looking at the usual like 40quid for Conzult! Do Nissan Dealerships do them? Or full Dyno mapping how much is that usually and anywhere anyone can recommend near Bedfordshire (EA) Many thanks Munny
