As some of you know, I have Supra rear lights fitted on my zed.. I recently bought the LED rear lights from 'Zelda' with the intention of fitting the whole set-up. This would have proved very expensive for the body mods to be done, so I used the LED's to do my own DIY conversion. Let me know what you think.. Good or bad lol

Hi guys,my z32 has atarted playing up recently and was wondering if nyone has came across the same problem problem being The car will not idle correctly,revs allways drop below 1000 then fluxuates back to normal revs,or conks out also when drivin it seems to missfire and generally has no piff. Hi ive always fitted a 255 on a 9" rim but ive noticed all of you lot have 265 tyres do these look ok on a 9" wheel or do they look a little big thanks taff.:)

Popped it in this morning and it passed on everything apart from the seatbelts! Apparently no british kite mark on them so the harnesses have to go but apart from that was advised on the steering bush/windscreen crack and something else but the real shock was the emissions: 0.131% (3% max) and 114ppm (1200ppm max) when its smokes like a bitch and wreaks of petrol lol Happy bunny! :dance::dance::dance: I'll sort the seatbelts this weekend then pop in for him to inspect and i'll pick up my test certificate, not bad value at £35 and done while you wait in 30 mins :)

I had a Mines Ecu which fried:( so i got my hands on a Standard Jap spec TT one and my engine is running really nice apart from 1. Down on power :( but i will get it mapped soon! 2. LIMITED to 112 :( As at the end of this month im away through Europe in the Zed and for 1 going through Germany! I need it De-limited for one! Whats the process im guessing Conzult then change it from 112 - 240??? If so i should be looking at the usual like 40quid for Conzult! Do Nissan Dealerships do them? Or full Dyno mapping how much is that usually and anywhere anyone can recommend near Bedfordshire (EA) Many thanks Munny

Morning all, A friend of mine has a problem with his clifford 650 g5 alarm, the siren was hangin and has fallen off and pulled the 4 wires off the circuit board inside in siren, we have opened it up but cant tell which colour wire goes where, and dont want to wait for the alarm people to sort it (over a week).. My question is does anybody have the 515u siren fitted to their clifford alarm system? who would be willing to have a look at the siren circuit board to see where the wires solder too or even take a picture so we can see which colour wire goes where and fix it. Any help would be greately appreciated as dont fancy leaving the car un alarmed for that len…

Hi folks, i've done a search on idle problems but i'm still none the wiser. My Zed doesn't want to idle. I've done all the usual things, checked the TPS, Yellow Temp sender, Injector connectors, Plugs, air leaks, AIC clean, but i still cant seem to fix it. The one thing that did seem to make a difference was unplugging the MAF. With it unplugged the engine idled smoothly. Does this indicate that the MAF is faulty or not faulty as i am a little confused by Smithy's response in another thread. As always, any help is greatly appreciated. If it helps the ECU is showing code 55 and the Datascan s/ware is showing that the MAF is giving an output????? Cheers, Mark

Haveing a problem with the car whilst idling. Yesterday it seemed to be hunting around when stopped at traffic lights, would drop to 750rpm then edge up to 900ish. Was the same today, so went to get some V-power. After getting back in the car, I noticed the boost gauge was at 0 on idle, and wasn't moving at all whislt driving. Dropped back down when I switched the engine off. It now seems to be revving at 1500rpm whislt at idle. Any ideas on what the problem could be????

unfortunatly ive gone through a red light. nothing speeding, was lost coming home one night and accidently went through one. now i dont supose thats going to sound any good in court. so il just send off the slip. is there any way i can avoid having a fine? not too bothered about points. Cannot have a ban (work etc) or will i HAVE to have a fine?

Ok my car is running rich and im getting black smoke when blipping on idle. today i noticed a nice black damp spray on the ground where my drivers side exhaust is not so much on the passenger side. which means im getting loads of unburnt fuel spraying out. I just changed the 555 chip to JD one and now it seems to be miss firing on boost I also get hesitation when blipping throttle which makes it hard to pull away Ive had it on conzult (thanks Vjay) and lambdas were buggard so ive changed those, everything else seemed ok, running temp etc. tps i think is reading fine. Ive done a boost leak test and all is fine. I havent done a fuel pressu…

Here are some boring pix of my car in a state is sanded and filled but its getting there. My mate is helping but I have decided to do most of the work myself (get my hand in) and when it comes to the spraying, well I am going to have a go at that too. Nothing wrong with trying a new thing is there? Anyway I will feel better if I do it myself it sort of goes with the whole theme as I have done everything else myself :)

Hi all Im a fairly new Zed owner, i will post some pics of my blue beauty late tonight! I have read through old posts and can see that the most effective way of increasing performance is via a EBC (in conjunction with a gauge of course!), after market air filter, de-catt/exhaust and a chip mapped for these mods. My question is what if I missed out the de-catt exhaust, would that have a big negative effect on performance? the reason im a bit hesitant is due to MOT issues and because i have read on here that taking off the catts can sometimes prematurely blow the turbos due to getting rid of seals (or something like that!). A mate of mine is having problems with his Z by the looks of it,it keeps blowing the ecu the problem he had at first was no spark so he changed crank angle sensor and i cannot remember what else but i know the ptu has not been changed and it is a s1.So back to it so he brought a mines ecu off ebay and it worked for a while well till last night when i get a phone call same again no spark so he borrowed my ecu again and the car started straight away so what are the chances of 2 faulty ecu's and is there anything we can check to stop this happening the car is a 92 tt lwb jap import.

Hi just been loking through the vast history and documents folder that comes with my Z and it has been looked after quite a lot by SE Nissan in the past who are now closed. I was just wondering what happened to the people that fixed the cars there, are they still in the trade or on this forum, part of the comunity etc. Just out of interest really I guess the people involved must have a lot of knowledge about Z's. Anyone know?

my z32 is having a bit of a problem with its idle just now.its fine starting etc and runs fine but the revs drop very low when stopped and if left for say 10 seconds, the car will stall itself.my only other means of transport is a diesel punto so please HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!! hehe.any help very much appreciated. Before my story; i've got a 96 silver TT which has already had a leather transplant in the original worn out black look. I've got the car booked in for what's known as a re-coat in the original colour and as i'm doing the outside i thought i should probably look at the inside as well. The problem i have is that i've no idea what colour to re-trim the seats in..... I've seen some photos of the latest Audi TT in silver with a light red interior and i think that looks pretty good. Based on that, what i'm thinking at the moment is that i'll get half the seats and the interior done in a light red. Anyone have any simliar thoughts; doubts; pictures; etc....... …

gents my autobox may be up the duff :headvswal i have a 1990 uk tt zed am i able to fit any autobox in my zed ie is the import different to uk? and is the turbo box different to a n/a? any help much appreciated cheers dewi.
