idle problem and general driving.

Hi guys,my z32 has atarted playing up recently and was wondering if nyone has came across the same problem

 

problem being

 

The car will not idle correctly,revs allways drop below 1000 then fluxuates back to normal revs,or conks out

 

also when drivin it seems to missfire and generally has no piff.

    Sounds rather like a boost leak to me. are you able to test for a leak??

     

    Not really sure how to my friend.any advice
