The first goodie for my car has to be a decent boost controller to replace the bag 'o' shite thing thats already on it. I dont have millions of pounds to spend so whats the thoughts on here regards a good un to go for? M

Since i got my UK TT Manual, i always thought it was quick, having got used to it, i couldnt understand why it would only boost to 7psi. However today this has all changed. It started when i was reading a thread about a det bypass, having checked the resistor it was dead as a dodo. So i got hold of 5 x 1Mohm ones. (as spares) I disconnected the battery to reset the ecu, and did the bypass and an oil change and filter, After connecting it all back up, i noticed on the boost pipes, some jubilee clips, so i investigated to find that i have boost jets too. :hyper: One of which was blocked, after cleaning and checking it all. Started the engine to check the oil, and…

my passenger wheel is moving to the back of the arch whilst breaking and going over speed bumps, im assuming it could be some bush or bottom arm of some sort, would anuyone like to elaborate please

Hi - I need somewhere where I can get used to the Z! I have only had it a couple of months and have not really driven it much. I put my foot down yesterday and the rear lit up going down a straight road!! Its scary and I want to know the cars limits before I give it too much! Does anyone know of anywhere that I can go to test it out? I live in Kent.

My rev counter needle sticks quite regularly. How do I sort this out? They have had the LED's fitted and have been converted to MPH if this makes a difference?

I am doing the following and want to know 2 things. Firstly am i correct with the equipment i am going to use. And secondly EXACTLY what wires i will need to purchase. I am going to be running, aftermarket 90watt RMS rear 6x4's in the original place, aftermarket original size fronts, not sure what wattage yet, but as high RMS as i can. 2x 12" Subs in the rear. So what amps do i require, i am guessing i need a 4 channel amp for the 4 'original' speakers and a separate 2 channel amp for the subs, is this correct? Also i need to know EXACTLY what wires i am going to need, and which side of the car to thread them down etc...... To put it simply i know what…

Hey, my car has a full dec cat system, filter, JWT chip and boost jets but im just setting my boost controller up and was wondering what boost to run? What do we think? current boost without controller is about 12psi

My Zed which I have owned now for a couple of years has air valves sticking up through the suspension mounts which todate I have never checked the pressure or connected them to a compressor. Unfortunately no paperwork came with the car on these items and thus I no jacksh#t about how to set them up or adjust them. Has anyone else got air shocks fitted or had experience of them. What I would like to know is what sort of pressure should they be set at for normal motoring and can you adjuct the ride height by increasing the pressure.

Hey! Has anyone got a screamer pipe or pipes? My exhaust sounds lovelt and deep bit just laks that JAP note. And you cant really hear a loude spool up noise so I was thinking about meshing one of the turbos as i did that on my glanza turbo and it sounds amazing! What we thinking?

Hi All, Im new to the zx,only got my jap import 300zx n/a manual last weds& i love it but, i've noticed a noise in second& fourth gear & some times on tick over, i dont know if its a noisey clutch??? because when i push the clutch in the noise stops??? I dont think its the gear box because when you go over a certain rev the noise stops??? Also can anybody direct me to where to get an owners manual or haynes manual please? i nead to know tyre pressures and what oil to use etc. Thanks in advance Dubz:D

just bought a set of used scorpion twin exit duel pipe exhausts for £160 for pickup this week. are these loud, good performers over stock etc? also I think that was a pretty fair price opinions please

started doing this yesterday car runs great then the engine just cuts out as if iv switched it off. i pull over and it starts again first time. there isnt any warning lights ect on and cant hear or see anything out of the ordinary is it likely to be the ptu i have a 1994 jap tt

Hello All, Now, it appears ive got both gaskets gone from the rear of the centre piece to the back boxes, the rear ssection is a scorpion jobbie, not sure if the centre piece is the original or an aftermarket, but never the less the joints are proper corroded up, looks like someones had ago with some sealent at one time or another and made a right mess of it,lol. anyway i'll get to the point, obviously i'll need two new joints, can i pick up a "generic" from my mate harry halfords or have i gotta have the proper part, if so where can i get it??? thanks in advance.
